Is it just me or...

...Or is it easier to break items if they are rarer. Because I've upgraded many lower lvl common items and they never break. But just today, Ive lost a King Marlone Axe and a green 2Hand (Can't remember what it was being that I had it for not even 3 minutes) If I'm blatantly wrong, I'm sorry its just that I'm really frustrated cause Ive lost over 35s from breaking items.

I've read a bunch of articles on enchanting and from what I've heard, the rarer or high level and item is -- the more chances of breaking it has.

I don't hold this as 100% true unless an actual GM says so -- but it's safe to assume.

I have personally upgraded 3 green weapons. All of which broke on the first blessed elrue I used on them. I never got them to +1.

I've long given up on enhancing. If I want a title, I just buy a cheap level 2 shoes in Roumen and break it.
