Well for the past 6 months I've poured my money into buying spark cash, lets face it.. most everyone has. When I got my "free sample" lucky ball today it took the cake.

So they give us something for free that we can not even use!!! Merry Christmas anyone BELOW lvl 30!! For all the rest.. they don't think enough of us to let us even "look cute". The wonderful perm I got from the "free sample" can not even be used in mixed gem mode. I'm a level 85 Rogue with a defense on my armor of 55. I would not give that up to look cute with a shotty 18 defense on Spark stuff! So the item is worthless! You want to give us a merry christmas, give us all a perm that we can all use no matter the level. IE: Face/Eye/Back items! Really.. I don't know anyone that doesn't spend 25.00 to 300.00 a month in spark cash or more. I would think that they could give us an item that we could all use.

Thanks for the gift, I'll treasure it as I throw it in the trash because I can not use it!

It was free though....not to mention that you can wear it when you're in town or afking. Honestly I think you should be happy you got a perm, I got 100mp pots and would trade you in a heartbeat even though my main is a higher level than yours.

I don't hate the item, I rather like it! But I can't use it unless IM in town! And its just the icing on he cake. When I first started playing here everything was fun! Now you have to buy sc items for events that you can't use either after its over. They are making this entire site just a marketing ploy. Which I understand was their goal to start with but come on! Everything is about money! I feel for the little kids that can not buy spark cash at all b/c they are under 18! They miss out on lots of events! I even had a perm for one and refused to go just for principle!!

So if you are asking had I rather got something free or not got it at all.. not got it! I did think ev1 was getting a perm.. so if u got pots.. I'd trade you! LOL.. at least I can use them!

The 'little kids' which are under 18 could get their parents to buy them sparkcash if they so wished - and if their parents aloud it.

If you rather not get a free item like you said, then don't bother entering for events which give you free items like you did.

Their ploy is to make some money from this - which they do. So when they give free stuff out which usually costs money etc, then you should be grateful.

And please note, I thought everyone was getting the bear or panda suit!!!! 1 pot is a joke! So quit hatin! I Just wish outspark would be more fair about what they do. We all spend a lot of real money on the game. Would be nice if it wasn't always about the buck!

that is why i would like outspark to try this suggestion i made in another thread:

Personally i would like to see the way this game is run changed. give us a permium content option, where we pay like 7000 sc a month, and we get extra maps/exclusive maps, more non grinding related content, possibly better xp and premium events.
this would give outspark more revenue and keep the 'paying' customers happy.

sure it will create more of a divide between free and paying, but, the people that pay to play this game are the ones keeping this game alive, thus allowing the free players to carry on enjoying the game.

And not to mention I'd rather pay 40.00 or whatever a month to play the game and get the premium items and get some kind of premium service and I"d be ecstatic! I thought woohooo finally! Something worth it! Then I couldn't use it on mixed, was just really disappoointed!

But yes, changing it to p2p v f2p would make a world of diff in their revenue! Even those that only spend a few bucks a month would be more inclined to spend a set amount to get premium game play! Kudos to the suggestion!

I am still working on getting a perm Item I don't even know how many lucky balls I have bought and still not a perm item yet... I want me a horror mask I will be the happiest person. I love that mask. I keep getting potions, and stuff but no perm items yet. ='( It will come in time. Just have to spend about 300 more dollers to get one.. lol =)~

Then are you saying that we shouldn't get anything free as a gift from outspark all together? Personally I'd rather wear my panda suit than my armor, which freakishly, even if my armor IS +4 6ap, I can survive better with the panda suit than my armor. Just be happy you got something instead of the 1 hp pot so many others got.

It's weird though, I have a perm cowboy suit I got out of a lucky ball I paid for and it works in mixed mode. But the free perm bear suit doesn't. Not complaining about getting a free bear suit, just wondering why it won't work in mixed mode.

It's because of the background color! xD

In all seriousness I think it's because the background color of the bear suit is the same as a normal item, i.e. one that could be obtained in-game, as opposed to the light blue of sparkcash items. Mixed mode, from what I've seen, only works with the light-blue colored items.

Getting 1 small hp pot is better than getting nothing at all. And getting a perm bear suit is awesome. Especially when it's FREE! Who cares if you can't grind with it on unless you're an extremely low lvl? You can strut your stuff around town lookin good as a bear ;D

I think the main complaint is that the suit can't be used in mixed mode gem. Personally, I think any item should be used in mixed mode, and there should be more equipment slots open to mixed mode like face and back. Since we're paying real money for mixed mode anyway, let us have some freedom with it. The major reason Outspark gives for not implementing any of the suggestions we give them is because it will cause game imballances. There's no possible way opening up mixed mode will cause game imballances since non of the items equiped this way give any bonuses. Just do the smart think Outspark, and allow anything to be worn with mixed mode, and sit back and rake in your money off of the huge amounts of mixed mode gems you'll now be selling, that should be sold from npc's in game.

I agree that it kinda sucks that the bear suit can't be used this way, since all my char's are too high to use it, but on the other hand I was pretty much sure that they would never give out a sc item for free. I still find it hard to believe that they actually gave out a free perm item. And you know what? I bet it didn't affect the amount of SC people spend at all.
