Hey,

Im new to Solstice but i want to get a quick grasp of everyone's likes and dislikes about the game.

What makes this game special and what kind of game is it?

SoS in a nutshell:
It's like cigarettes.
You get addicted, it sucks your money like a vacuum, you want to stop but something keeps you there, until you get so sick of it you just leave anyway.

the ppl are nice ;D*for the most part*

i guess i like the skill animations and how the monsters look lol


but then again
if u like to play by urself and not rlly party or anything then it can get sorta boring cuz rlly its just grinding and lvling up.... no real storyline or anything...

but still for some reason this can be an addicting game ;]

The game itself is cute, but it's the community that kind of pulls you in.

Back to your question though, SotS has had some problems this year, but it looks like this is a great time to join the game. Many of the bugs, glitches, and typos in the game are fixed now, and a lot more quests and maps have been implemented since the game entered open beta. If you join the game keeping in mind that it is still in open beta, and that a lot more content will be added soon, you should be able to have a lot of fun just grinding and doing the mostly simplistic quests.

The community, as most everyone will agree on, is one of the best in the online gaming community, and makes the game worth playing.

For me it's simple, if it wasn't for the community, my friends, I'd be long gone... I recall a GM once came to Essene center and asked for feedback. One of the question was: Why do you still keep playing the game even though people complain a lot about x stuff and y things. I think the majority agreed that it's mostly cause of friends and guildy!
