UPDATED POST: Mage all the way... I sucked at Fighter, Rogues are hard to train, and I die 24/7 as a healer (even in towns where there are no monsters ><) so yeah... Magicians or Bust

Yeah if you`re like my older brother playing day and night, using the bathroom once a day... And if you`re an expert at the game when u play for the first three minutes. Then you`ll be a high level on the second day of the release.

I will be a thief. Because in any game thiefs are availible im usually a thief.:D

Than warrior. Why? Because well I always liked swords and hand to hand combat people so warrior is my second choice.

Next up would be archers.:p Well I never really liked archers ever!
Why? Well in FESS I used to well.....SUCK WITH ARCHERS. And they used die on me when the enemy attacked first since archers cant attack up close but in MMORPGS you get to mostly attack the monster first and so I like archers now.:D

Mage next. Why? Well in fire emblem to me Mages were Ok(Summoners are my all time favorite mage class) and they had VERY low deffence but high power but still magic stuff doesnt suit me well.

Cleric and predictor. I HATE ANY CLASS THATS MAIN PURPOSE IS TO HEAL!
So this is why these 2 are on the bottom. But I LOVE anyone else thats a cleric and heals me! XD

Ragnarok didnt have the two different path from the beginning either. I think it was out for 2 years or so before the second job class came out. Paladin, Sage, Bard/Dancer, Rogue, Alchemist, and Monk

From the pics I've seen predictors use swords and they are very similar to crusaders in Ragnarok. Even their 3rd class is Paladin like in Ragnarok. I'd still rather pick a rogue though cause im a veteran with high flee, fast attkin classes.

Some of the games I've played tend to over power the mages. I hope they fix that problem here. Personally, I'd like to have a magic power balanced with that of a Fighter's Attack power. I think that would be good. Not exactly balanced, but close enough to where they can grow in different directions. Of Course, Enchating weaponry and armor is a must for a Mage. Does anyone know if there is an enchanting system or alchemy methodology in this game? That would probably be an excellent add on.

Although people seem to think Predictors will be rare, probably because of the poll... I see alot of people posting that they are going to be predictors/acolytes just because they sound interesting. So healers might not be a rarity at first since people are gonna wanna check out predictors. =P

Anyhow, if I play.. I would go with a Archer to try it out. If I don't like that I'll either try acolyte (or whatever class can go Full Support), Mage or Fighter. I'll have to try out all three to decide. o.o

for closed beta, ill play healer, but once open comes out im thinking of switching to archer

after being in a party with both koji and jade, i saw how rewarding the grinds for their rouges where, with their archers in the mines (super high def) they where still able to whipp out 290-300 damg easaly... untill they get ganked from behind BUT thats another story XD

its pretty basic really, i usualy start the battle (if soloing) with illusion quake, then run back and repeat, if they get too close i test my luck with spirit run away (dont hit them untill you are far enough) then repeat... altho their dps is horrendously low... (they have heal so no worries XD)

if in a party, your mostly the healbot... especaly when you have a swordy that can give you the hp buff. Really, you will spend so much of your mana healing you wont have any left for your nuke.

depening on your party (if not soloing), they can get kind annoying at times requesting buffs all day (they only last for 3 mins) but if you can stand that then youll have lots of fun especaly because you can now leech roughly 90% of your exp from your partymates speding a few thousand here and there for a large quantity of mp pots to support yourself (selling uneeded books <like level1 heal or level1 magic ice> will get you money easy, one book sells for roughtly 1.7k XD)

glad your likething the class, personaly i want to see more acos around, im getting tired of appying two buffs on each party member (unless syl is around, then we can perform the duo buff when wer not fighting XD you know we all <3 you syl)

Thank you for the advice, it helps! I haven't managed to try and play in a party yet because I had to get off shortly after class changing. I just started today so I haven't met many people yet :p. I think I'd enjoy the party aspect of the game once I make some friends in-game.

I actually like to use Spirit before using Illusion Quake, just because it gives me more time to cast before having to run back. :p

Acolyte, even if I am depending on divided party exp to get levels. Helping others is fun.

Other then that perhaps the mage, since it has major damage in the repetoire.(almost 400 atk at teddy/snake-forest... O__o)

It gets hard on me when I am going to change the acolyte's class, folks like my healing(200-300 blue pots) so much, especially those I have learnt more of.

Well I think I'm going to have a fighter... for the traditional roll of "tanking." I'm sure at some point this will be required. For my second character I'd porbably make a caster of some sort. I don't see the point of having a single genre of character(two melee classes) for the simple reason that you are more likey to be useful to the people you play the game with(and therefore be offered more playing time,) covering two unrelated rolls with two characters. I'll probably end up going fighter and healer... in my past experiences, having an excellent "tank" and/or heals can decide the outcome of a battle... and I'm pretty damn excellent.:cool:

predictor and archer u can think of as second classes thats why they only get 2 more class changes while the others get 3

fighter.. even though theres no def raising stat so i cant become a tank *on site ment was supposed to raise it but i havnt seen it raise at all from ment so oh well str/agi for me*
