Hwello Fiestians,
Welcome to week two of Top Model where you return to the usual format and you the voter have a direct say on who moves onto the next round. The player sponsored event that is open to all four servers where both models and voters alike are potential winners of sparkcash (please note the sparkcash are redeemed via a prepaid card code, where the sponsor will never request or need your real life info, account info and password). The primary purpose of such this month long event is for contestants to have some fun showing off their screenie skills while at the same time let the neighbors from other servers to get to known each other better in order to create a better sense of community. Yes each week will be a separate voting poll with its own exciting twists and turns. The previous finalists for the first Top Model contest had such a positive experience from this contest that they have all agreed to help me out for the first segment of this competition.

Important news any voter should know about Top Model

1. Cycle 1 Top model finalists FatalLace, _CareBear_ and PrincessAi will act as co-hosts as each of them holds a one time use immunity card. The purpose of the card gives each co-host the ability to save an eliminated model to move onto the next rounds but does not disqualify the 6 models which will move onto week 3 based on voter majority. Which means there is a possibility of having more than the initial 6 models moving onto the next week of competition. This time around my co-hosts can not disqualify any model but they have the ability to save them if they so wish.


2. Greater and more innovative security measures are implemented to ensure the poll results are as accurate as humanly possible (I will explain the changes when the event begins). Santa Ah_Rin knows when a child is naughty or nice, It is only a matter of time hee hee hee. Please realize that this is not a popularity contest, only one vote per real life person, multiple account voting will face disqualification from the player's raffle prize as well as put the model you are supporting under suspicion and possible disqualification also. I can and will manually adjust poll results from dishonest practices.

* Any potential voter with less than 10 previous posts prior to 11/21/2008, there votes will not count in this contest (This is one solution enacted to prevent people from just creating alternate accounts to vote more than one in this contest). I will make exceptions if that voter is motivated enough to private message me and write me a one paragraph explanation on why they should be allowed to vote in top model and be put under closer scrutiny.

* Every potential voter must keep their profile public for the sponsor to scrutinize at her discretion when accusations of fixing the polls results are sent to me via PM. Just like in Cycle 1 of FNTM I have dealt with all accusations in seriously, quietly and efficiently. I may be strict but I am fair about giving second chances if you are sincere.

* There shall not be any other active campaigning threads promoting specific models in regards to cycle 2 of FNTM without the sponsor's expressed permission.

3. Greater empowerment of the players as this contest is also a way to reward those who will learn to articulate their virtues as opposed to pointing out other people's faults. Yes, I do understand people like to flame others and point out their faults, while this may influence me not to chose the person you are flaming but it also hurts the flamer as it puts your own integrity into question as you need to put down others to make yourself look better.

Cycle 2 of Top Model is my radical experiment on creating a fun and educational experience for the judges, contestants, and voters involved. There will new innovative techniques used which once again will make Top Model the only contest of its kind within the Outspark forums.

What is so innovative about Cycle 2 of Top Model?

Let me explain in detail. First, I will create a mini-guide (similar to my color studies guide) on the original posting of week 1-4 that shows screen shots with challenge question/answer examples of how I would rate a submission as poor (0)/Average (1)/Excellent (2) points. Second, I will make scorecard for the voters to copy/paste then post their own assessments on the Top Model threads as unofficial judges. Third I will ask voters that on weeks 2-4 there are only 2 criteria to consider the screen shot and the written submission. Each criteria is only worth 2 pts max so the highest any contestant can do is get 4 pts on weeks 2 through 4. I am requesting every voter to be an objective while putting their own personal feelings aside and cast their votes on models who scored 3 to 4 points based on their own personal assessments of each candidate.

- Week 1: The 3 special guest judges scorecards will push the 10 most qualified contestants to week 2 (In even of any ties the judges will decide by majority vote, if it's still deadlocked the sponsor makes the final decision).

- Week 2: Voters decide which 6 contestants will move onto week 3.

- Week 3: Voters decide which 3 contestants will move onto week 4.

- Week 4: Voters can only chose one model and decide which finalist is Top Model for Cycle 2.

* Special Note: Each guest judge have one immunity card they may play which saved a contestant from elimination and move onto the next round, so if all 3 judges decides to play their immunity card on week 3, their will be a possible of 6 finalists on week 4.

This assessment thing seems complicated, what makes you think people will bother to even use look at it much less use it and post it on the Top Model thread after they already voted for their models?

I will use the method of a contest within a contest to motivate and challenge the voters themselves. Here's is the mini-contest that any special judge, contestants themselves, the voters (unofficial judges) can participate in on a voluntary basis. You all know that any voter who votes on a weeks polls get a raffle # which is good for a random chance at winning $10 sparkcash code reimbursement just like Cycle 1 of Top Model.

What if I was to say that the special mini contest prize is not $10 but $25 worth of sparkcash code? What if I am also so say that only limited people can get chosen into this mini contest so the chances of you winning the prize is much higher than the normal prize you already get a chance for?

Here is the simple rules: The sponsor being me, I will post my scorecard and my own personal assessments when the polls of each weekly contest is closed. Any player who studies my guide on assessing other people's submissions will have an idea oh how I would score the submissions. If anyone's scorecard results posted on the Top Model thread matches my results exactly, their name will be assigned for a special raffle # for the $25 prize (Please realize I will also check the votes you put in for the models to match the accuracy of your scorecard, no editing of the scorecard post will be allowed once you posted it or you are disqualified due to possible fix results to match my own).

What is the benefits of this assessment system to voting?

1. This is a simplified version of assessing other people's qualities in real life. The world's economy is becoming more global and competitive. The ability to learn to assess your own limitations to overcome them is crucial to learning how to get into special schools, gets scholarships/ grants for business, get that job you always wanted. Know you own limitations and you will know no limits to your future.

2. This system is set up to combat popularity contests ie friends voting for friends due to their relationship and not their actual abilities.

3. The voters will learn the difficulty of compromise. If the voters follows my guidelines they will find out to their dismay that they end up picking more models than is allowed for the next round. This is the sad reality that their are only limited seats for every thing in life such as schools/jobs. For example, if two students applied to the same college, have the same SAT test results of 1300+ but their is only own seat available. The college recruiters would difficult time choosing between either student until they have time to do a personal interview to check that student's motivations and ability that would most benefit the school themselves. This is a long process and even if a student is not accepted, at least it is a learning experience on what skills/motivations you may be lacking based on an organization's criteria and once you resolve those issues you have a much higher chance of being accepted to that organization.

I know this is very complicated especially for our younger audiences but this contest is basically a complex educational lesson simplified to interest Fiesta players. Who says playing video games rots the brain? Lol, given the right content, video games makes great educational tools to improve yourselves for the better.

It is indeed an honor to have been selected as the first Fiesta’s Next Top Model. With that title and notoriety also comes great responsibility. Your name will be known throughout the servers and all of your actions judged accordingly. The acquisition of fame and how you deal with others will be highly scrutinized throughout the remainder of your Fiesta career.

With that in mind, OutSpark recently included a patch which allows players of a higher level to enter into Abyss maps that they had previously passed by. This new feature has divided our community into two camps, those that feel it is okay to slaughter all those before you in the Abyss and those that fight to protect those that stand no chance against such an onslaught.

Here is your scenario:

Your best friend, a level 66 Warrior, repeatedly goes on rampages in the formerly 5x Abyss, relentlessly killing armies of outmatched fellow adventurers because he's bored with the game. This is a new change and decision by Outspark which I don't like at all. I mean, how many times have we seen dramas incurred by people who took advantage of such a situation?

The thing is, if my best friend takes interest in massive onslaught on outmatched players to feed his satisfaction and joy, I would be quite shock and disappointed. It is a coward act to kill people whom have little to no chance against one self.

I had the experience of being a 'victim' in the abyss before. It is also very often that I get disturbed by
harrassments due to people who likes to trash talk and throw their weight around to remind others that they are superior and more deserving of the grinding area. I understand that the abyss is like a pvp arena. Others attack us, we fight back. It is a simple logic and challenge for space and fun.

However, I can imagine how bad it would become if the higher level players were to enter the lower lvl abyss maps and spoil the fun of others. Honestly, these players who go to extreme heights to kill lower level players, lack graciousness and maturity. (And I must be naggy and repeat that it is also an act of cowardice.)

Coming back to the question, if my best friend behaves in this way at the abyss, I will honestly tell him that I dislike his idea of fun to 'victimized' lower lvl players in the abyss. I would share my advices and perspectives with him and if our friendship cannot withstand the test of this issue, it just shows how much my friend treasures his little fun as compared to our friendship.

However, I doubt it would be likely to happen in such a manner because i trust my BEST friend not to be totally ignorant to my advices. And furthermore it is only just a GAME. The consequences shouldn't be anything serious if I advice him to stop the meaningless onslaughts. If he still wouldn't listen, then I would just keep bugging him until he would help me with quests or grinding, lol. Anyway, there are so many things which the game can offer. It only depends on whether we want to put in the effort or not.

To sum up, the game would always change and there would always be conflicts between players due to the imbalances. Friendship on the other hand, is increasingly challenged by the ever-growing disparity in the individual degrees of fun and comfort.
However, would the changes affect true and strong friendship? I already have an answer in my mind and I'm feeling positive about it.

To me, the best way to approach the imbalances in the game, is to highlight the issues to Outspark instead of getting into even more heated arguments with a close friend. After all, the source (root) of the problem is actually initiated by the developer, Onson Soft.

Everyone make mistakes, be it Fiesta or real life. I would not totally penalise my friend if he is to do something which I feel is wrong. Furthermore, I'm confident that my friend can change a bad habit if he is correctly advised.

Last but not least, I would like to thank Ah Rin and everyone for spending the time together with me and other top models in this 1 month period long of event.
It has been fun and nice. I seldom have time to take part in the forum discussions due to real-life commitments. So I'm really thankful and glad that Ah Rin had always been gracious and given me opportunities. She had granted me time extensions and I managed to get by Week 3's question because of her advices. And also a big thank you to those who had supported me for the past few weeks.

This for me was a very difficult question. Many of my friends know that I am avidly against the current situation in the abyss, particularly the level range as it makes for a lot of unfair fights. That said, I also have friends that are PKers. Trying to see things from both points of view, I discourage it and I'm disappointed by those who choose to 'pwn the noobs'...but I understand that was an MMO each player is allowed to play the game how they want to play it.

In the situation that you described, I think the best course of action on my part would be to discuss with my friend why I disapprove of his actions. I would make it well known that I am disappointed in him for slaughtering lower levels, and yes, if I were to be in the abyss while he was doing it I might take him on in an attempt to distract him from others for a while. I cannot stop him. It is his right to pvp in the area, as much as it is my right to choose not to take part in it. I would not take part in it, I only kill in the Abyss area in defense of my own life...but I would not take joy in his killing and I would not ignore it either. I could also attempt to get him involved in other aspects of the game again...if he's bored, maybe all he needs is a lively party to get him going again. Its always more interesting for me when I have my friends around...who knows, maybe it would work for my warrior friend too ^^

I’m very glad you decided to give us this question as it is an issue I feel very strongly about. Unfortunately as great as abyss is, I feel it is also one of the most places that generates hate and anger amongst the community. Now with the new found Kill Points and Leadership Boards more people than ever are killing in abyss and even more hate and frustration is being distributed.

I personally am one who does not partake in the killings in abyss. I have now even gotten to a point where when people start to attack me, I still choose to not attack back as I find no enjoyment in killing others, making them lose exp and ultimately ruining their game playing experience. If I knew a friend of mine was killing people, well I would definitely not take part in it. I’m afraid the fact that he isn’t even killing people of matched strength would shed a completely different light on this friend. I would definitely try and get him to see another side, and urge him to take out any player vs. player urges he might have out in the battle fields where no one needs to lose any exp. Or at least, if he wants to battle in abyss, I would urge him to get consent from a person who would also like to battle there. If the two sides are consenting in the matter then I see nothing wrong in it. Unfortunately, no matter how much I might cherish this person’s friendship he would leave me no choice but to prefer if this friend satisfied his boredom by playing another game or doing something else, then merely gaining enjoyment by making others upset and ruining other people’s playing time.

However, purposely killing people especially people who are obviously of lower strength and/or are completely unwilling to be a part in the fighting, well I’m afraid I see that as being cowardly and very inconsiderate. If he is still unwilling to stop, despite how much I dislike fighting in abyss and being a part of it, I would try as hard as I could to take him down in abyss to give him a taste of his own medicine, so he may finally experience the other side of things. I wish people would think before they act at times. Try not to do things you think maybe cause hurt to others, be considerate. Let's make this community better than it already is.

Now I understand there are many of you who enjoy killing people in abyss, or may even be like the "friend" in this question, however, I urge you to not judge mine, or anyone else’s entry here for that matter, by their stand point, but by the quality and essence of their FNTM entry.

This patch has caused quite an uproar. I have actually had to deal with a similar situation. I will answer according to my own reaction with a prior issue.

If my friend were to go into the 5X abyss ( or any abyss) and rampage simply because they are bored, we would need to have a long talk. I could never concur with such behavior. However; they are also human, so I would attempt to explain to them that what they are doing is wrong. A friend should never let a friend continue on when they are in the wrong. A friend should at least try to show the other that this sort of behavior is unjust and uncalled for. There are many things that they can do when they are bored, things that do not involve the slaughter of other players.

The people who play these characters are real and they have feelings. Killing a character has real repercussions. It can effect that person's day, they could feel harassed, they could loose exp which they have worked for and put effort into achieving.

I know that there have been many a debate on the purpose of the abyss. I believe the abyss was created to create a place where people could duel and compete. I do not think it was meant as a slaughter house. I myself enjoy dueling; However; I request a match if I wish to duel someone. I Never attack at random.If someone attacks me, then I have the right to defend myself.

This being said: I think that slaughtering because someone is bored is wrong and it only degrades my thought of that person. I would try and coerce that person to stop and leave the innocent players alone. If it came to it I would defend those lower level players. Partly to show them that people still have morals and respect for others. I would try not to kill my friend and simply buy the lower levels the time to leave if they wished.

If the my friend were to continue this behavior...I would no longer be able to call that person my friend. I have morals and I cannot be party to such a thing.

What I would do is first try to talk to my best friend and find out what going on. I would tell him that taking out his frustrations and boredom out on fellow adventurers would not be right. Put yourself in their shoes and tell me if you would like it!! If your that bored we can always find something else to do. Something like this could be troublesome and bring negative energy to whoever guild his in. From what I heard, Outspark has change the abyss rule now players that kill another player will lose experience and that hurts. I myself never experience this because manly have teva to protect such losses. If all that fails, my friends still go on a rampage and still doing the wrong and amuse himself even further I would have no choice but to take him out. Yes by doing so would cause a downfall between our connection in friendship but he will learn from his mistakes when it has happen to him and all will be forgiven.

I would talk to my friend and ask tell him it's not fair to do this to lower level players. I'd try to get him to see the error of doing this and ask him how would he like it. Then I might suggest trying to focus more on a guild, or PvP with people his level to see how good he really is and see if he can improve himself. He could try gaining all the titles he could, or make a new character and play some more. If he still wanted to kill the lower levels, I'd go in and do my best to stop him myself, hoping we'd still be friends in the end.

It was a great question, its relevant to whats occuring now and it puts each model in a situation where they have to think more about their answers. It was difficult to describe how I feel about the situation compared to how I would handle things, but I liked it :)

At this point, I want to thank Ah_rin for running this contest again, everyone who participated, and everyone who voted. In a time where the community seems to be splitting over new patches and additions to the game...its great to see a place where everyone comes together :)

I think that all these entries are fantastic. I love to see what people think about this subject because it has become quite and interestign and heartbreaking topic. I voted 1 for some of the screenies because, to me, I felt they werent displaying the topic as much as I would like. This is completely personal and the screenies are beautiful in any case.

I wanted to explain my screenie.xD. It is me facign the stone dragon in abyss. He is my roval in morals and i used the glwoing water to trya nd make it look like I was trying to"shed light upon him" Dragon=slaughterer of many xD. Also wearing the sensei suit for a more disciplinarian feel.

I dont know if it turned out but I had fun exploring different angles. I used to taek screenies of portrait like views before...and I find that I have learnt quite a bit when it comes to screenies. I have learnt a lot from this competition and know that I will go home a winner. Not meaning I think I will win the competition, but I know I will win something. I know that I have won because I have met all of you, I have gotten to know all of you and have come to consider you more than just aquaintances. I have won because I have improved myself in many ways. I have won because I put the effort in and I know that even if i hadnt made it into the second round...that I had tried something and put myself out there.


I need to say that you have all kept me going through this difficult period in my life. I really need to thank all of you. I joined Fiesta because I was bed rested for my pregnancy and they told me she would most likely abort. I found a sanctuary here, particularly on forums. When I couldnt do anything but sit down on the couch because if i did more I'd be hospitalised...I found that I had made friends when my own had been frightened away by my dire situation. Now that Abbigail has made it this far, despite all her health issues, I find myself more attasched to this community.

This competition made me feel more respect for myself when I thought that I failed at everything. I failed at pregnancy...I failed at keeping my child healthy. I was so terribly depressed. But you have all made me feel so much more pride in myself. I even got the motivation to begin drawing again, which is something that I lost all want for.


I am sorry for such a long message, but I want you all to realise that you have all helped me so much and I have enjoyed this experience whole heartily.


No mater who wins, you are all deserving. You have put your all into each entry and looking at prior entries, I've seen such an improvement. I feel as though I've seen you all grow a bit.^^.

And Celtic_Princess, although I love Roumen, you should have maybe chosen a different city for your screenshots if not a different outfit. Applepod, although your response is lengthy it is definitely easy to relate to and I hope voters aren't discouraged to read your response. Sauer, I think at a different angle this screenshot could have been excellent, but you can kind of see up your model's skirt and well.. that's not very model-like XD but I love the idea of your screenshot and the pose, just wish it was at a different angle... and it's a bit hard to tell what she's doing.

I had fun taking my screenie for this one too I got into it hehe...infact I died at least once trying to take it lol. But then my mum was kind enough to get her fighter and posed for countless screenies until I got the right one. That way she monitored my life if any monsters attacked me, since I couldn't see my life with interface off. hehe.

Thing is, I can't afford a lot of spark cash, so I don't activate multiple outfits at the same time so as this event was around 30 days...I stuck with one outfit. I'm sorry that seemed to take away from the overall picture for you. As this was an alternate character I don't have any perm. outfits on her.

As for the shot, the fish being where they were was important to me in the screenshot. I guess its lost in a screen shot but I was trying to work with perspective. Like when you have someone stand far back in a picture and it looks like they're standing on your hand.

I would like to know why you gave me a 1 for response though, but I'd appreciate it more if you gave that criticism via PM and not in the thread :)

That's quite alright, I am not upset at all. I try different angles and areas along with poses so that I can see what works and what does not.My screenie was meant to tell a story as well. The dragon is my opponent, the bow my weapon, the water from the fountain stands for reason and truth. Even though my oponent is dangerous and causes much trouble, my reasoning and morals (water)do not let me kill him...therefor the water makes it as though my weapon is not really there even though it is. My morals keep me from killing the dragon with my weapon. The angle was meant to make me small, because the issue at hand is much bigger than solely I.

This is why I chose this area in abyss to use for my screeny. I could see a metaphore bewteen me and the dragonic fountain.

^^ you didn't offend me, my words tend to be a little shorter when it gets past midnight and I'm starting to get tired, I apologize if it came off that way.

I like constructive criticism because it shows me the areas I need to work on, even if I may think that it was just fine. Having created the entry, I know what my intentions were in using the screenie...but transfering my idea through the internet and hoping everyone thinks the same way I do is pretty much impossible. So its nice to hear what someone elses perspective on it is.

While yes, I used the same pants the entire way through, I used my lvl 50 top in last weeks entry. This one was taken beforehand when I was still 4x, I liked the screenie but didn't have a place to use it, I felt it was appropriate for this one because of the position of her arms. Like she's saying "check out my guns" or something along those lines :p

I just want to notify people that I may not be very active at least until Jan 3 when its time to distribute the prizes. Ehm, forgive me if I don't use a scorecard, I'm not exactly sure how they work 0.o

I personally like Sauer's screenie the best, for the reason I thought it most relevant to the question. In the sense of your level 66 friend in abyss, the screenshot most reminded me of my time in the 50 abyss. Abyss = Abyss xD

And the stance the archer takes is really something to behold if you view it as the archer perhaps taking "the last stand" against evil in the dark underground. That's my view anyways.

All the answers seemed the same to me really, a collection of, "I would disapprove and tell them off" kind of thing. So in that respect, I don't really have a favorite towards who responded "better."

Each response, for credit, was well thought out and written wonderfully. Again, my only disappointment was that (for lack of a better word) all rather generic. The "safe" upstanding answer is to say, "No, I would not be happy."

Consider the following, I would find a 66 player in the 40 abyss or below a shock and more like, "Omg, they are so noob." 66 in 50? It's not that bad, and it's not that hard to hold your own against someone 10 levels higher. It's not a total slaughter. While I do not condone the actions of those who go on "slaughter-fests," these responses are in themselves, rather... generic.

Excuse me for my blutness, I just thought I should point that out.

Final Statements

- The security requirements set up did prevent multiple voting from one person but it also prevented people who did not multiple vote but are too lazy to private message me to their resolve their issue. I do not name names or post list of names of people who did not qualify. Voters should be aware if they made the basic requirements of 10 posts prior to start time of FNTM 2.

Any suggestions on improving the security features to improve voter response is appreciated.

- Special Judges helped resolved a lot of issues when ties occurs between models but also required more time to resolve the results as greater time is required to communicate between the judges as opposed to just the sponsor making the final decision.

Any suggestions to improve or remove special judges from future FNTM contests please post on this thread ^^.

- Voting periods in late Nov-Dec is not the best period as majority of normal forums posters are inactive or away. May resume Cycle 3 of FNTM only during late Spring through Summer for best results.

I just logged onto the forums to see if the competition was over, and i noticed i had a PM from Adri asking me to place a tie-breaker vote *tsk tsk* and here i had a big CONGRATULATIONS planned for the winner, only to be delayed more.......


There has been alot of suspense in this competition, "Who's gonna answer this best? Who's screenie is gonna look the best, Who really has the potential to be Fiesta's Next Top Model?"

And so it comes down to this. My vote has already been cast, as i knew from the start that this person had alot of great potential. I've never met her in game, but i've seen posts on forums, and i know what she's all about.

I honestly never thought I would make it into the finals so thank you for all who voted for me and made it possible for me to have even gotten here. I was alread extremely happy for having made it into the first round of FNTM ...having made it this far, well I'm over the moon. And thank you definately to Ah_Rin who made so much people happy and excited by creating FNTM :) I hope to see many more FNTM's to come.

And I want to say Congratulations to saueracker. I've got to know you a lot better since the start of this competition (that's another thing that was so great about FNTM, getting to know so much more people) and you are such a sweet and kind person. It was so cool to see your name under all those sections, I was thinking "wow". I think youu definately deserved it, you showed so much energy throughout the whole contest and I think you passed off all that positive energy to the contestants.. Well you definately passed it on to me.

I'm sad that this competition has come to an end now though, cause I really enjoyed competeting with all of you and getting to know you all.

This is very true. And this is definately an accomplishment. I tend to put myself down when I enter something "no I'm not going to manage"... Sometimes it's a negative attitude which hinders people and if we look at things with a more positive outcome we will go a lot better. Quite a few of the contestants had such positive attitudes and I would like to thank you for rubbing some of it off on me and helping me have a more positive outlook on things. I got to know all of you so much better and you are all such deserving and admirable people, it was an honour being able to compete with all of you.

I apologize if I am rather strict with the format but it is similar to real life processes in applying for employment, at least this will indirectly give you a little boost of confidence to apply for the dream job you always wanted in the future ^^.

I am bit tapped on resources since distributing the sparkcash code prizes for the next contest. I am referring to the creation of another coverpage for FNTM 2 and put in a randomizer with FNTM 1 top models and slap the artwork for my Secret Catalog.

I wonder if any of you models (Since a lot of you contributed to Fiesta Fan Art Site in the past) wish to participate in designing coverpage in FNTM 2 after I find out the final winners for FNTM 2. Then I can see about providing some screenshots of the top 3 models, let the models and judges of FNTM 2 themselves vote on which one is best for a free gifted item to the winner.

There are always reasons on why anybody could not complete the rather challenging month long contest for Fiesta. I understand that resolving your personal issues should take priority over Fiesta since it is a game. The most important part for any contestant is that as long as they have some fun getting to know their fellow players in the process, that the main reason why most of use get together in Fiesta ^^.

Next cycle format maybe a bit different than Cycles 1 & 2, expect some sort of cooperative participation in game with a randomly selected partner to make it more challenging lol. Earliest time I would start up Cycle 3 would be around April through June depending on how quickly resolve my rl issues.

I may join the next one if she's short on participants but I don't see that happening...so I'm hoping to join the next round as a voter. I look foward to seeing your entries for the next cycle! :D

Any previous models who did not make it to the top 3 is more than welcomed to try again, since I have requests from cycle 1 models to reenter before. There is always a possibility of me requesting former Top Model participants to act as co-judges/hosts ^^.

Well the results will be shown tonight at 10PM PST. Right now the final winner can go either way, waiting on final vote to come in soon ^^.

I figure it is something for me to work on while waiting for premium coupon for another one of CM Saphar's contests, as I need to work on tagging at least 10 MVP forums awards in the long term so I can work on upgrading my currently bronze badge back to a shiny gold badge lol! I sincerely thank and congratulate Ah Rin and every single one of you for all the thoughts, creativity and fun which were exchanged in the Cycle 2 events. Whether I come to this far or not, I'm still myself as everyone else - unique and an important person to their loved ones and friends, be it real life or ingame.

I used to be quite a self-centered person when I was a teenage. After an incident and heartfelt honesty from my friends, I learnt the importance of the saying - to give more, expect less and cherish simple things in life.

Anyway, Ah Rin's upcoming event on the FNTM2/ Rin's Catalog Cover design would be more interesting. The current beautiful covers designed by the forumers (fatalace, Cha0sTribe and many others) had provided a better vision for us to relate to. It inspires us to improvise on the designs of the magazine cover. ^o^

Looking forward to see what is coming up for future. Up Ah Rin as always!! XD

Rules and Guidelines for coverpage design

Cycle 1 Top Model Coverpage Design winner Chaostribe

Dear Fiestians,

I am requesting all the talented artists to help me use their skills in developing a cover page for my Catalog of Fiesta Costumes located at http://www.outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95619. I have some screenshots from the finalists for Cycle 2 Fiesta's Next Top Model contest that provides the basic material for the cover page. I will include a randomiser so all the artwork should be displayed whenever someone refreshes the browser.

The top 2 entries with the most votes decided by the 21 Cycle 2 pageant models and 3 special judges themselves will be each gifted a premium beauty coupon.


1. The coverpage need to have type designed and prominently displayed which says "Rin's Secret Catalog". Also "Cycle 2 of Fiesta's Next Top Model" text should be displayed.

2. The finalists names should also be displayed besides their screenies I provided.

3. The size limit of the coverpage should be witin 450 by 600 pixels.

4. Basic layout should be Anrie (Applepod) Week 4 entry in her sky blue Santa suit and ushering in the beginning of the New Year 2009. I am requesting Applepod to include a resized larger image so it would be easier for contestants to crop, but if that resized image is not available, you the designer would need to enlarge Applepod's image using some sort of editing tool.

5. Top Model finalists HolyLightning (Naomi89) and Saueracker (saueracker) should be in smaller size compared to Anri. I am thinking of just cropping/resizing their head shots on paste their image and names on the right side or left side of Anri's screenie of but if you want to play around with the format and surprise me, go for it, I am sure someone else may have better ideas than me ^^.

6. Deadline for coverpage submissions is Friday, January 23, 2009 7:00PM Pacific Standard Time.

No, not really with me since both words although spelled a bit differently still have the same meaning ^^. Just make sure you do not change Rin to Rin Rin Rinny's Secret Catalog then it makes it sound like I'm selling candy lol.

I apologize for the two day delay, well more like Chinese New Year's celebrating kept me preoccupied for a bit. Here are the official submissions for the Coverpage contest for FNTM2 in order it was received: The Top Models of cycle 2 and special judges which I will private message just reply me with your vote on the best overall design.

The deadline for votes to be received will be 7 days from now at February 1, 2009 at 7:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Then I will announce the winners and distribute the premium beauty coupon prizes. Well the covers are all excellent, I will put them on a randomizer soon. Unfortunately there is only 2 prizes awarded for this event.
