Powerful? ^.^
You get "One" stat every level and 1Str = 1 damage increase.
At level 50, +50 dmg?
At level 100, +100 dmg?
Powerful? Give it a try and let us know maybe something interesting happen at higher level like after +25 Spr you get 0.1% instead of 0.2%. Maybe for Str the effect is different?
Will be a pain to level thou, low hp, low armor, low damage, low sp... pain ... pain ^.^
PS: Please note the number is not accurate, not calculated. I just pluck it out of air for doing example. Its close but not accurate.

The cleric's greatest strength isn't damage, it's durability. Every cleric has their Hitpoint total, and their Healing.
On one level, yes, a cleric's heal is not dependent on HP, so any monster that deals less damage over time than your heal amount is a monster you can tank. However, this is only the case if you aren't one shot killed by that enemy.
Without endurance your defence will be worse, and your heals will more than likely heal for more than your maximum HP, becoming wasted, and you'll be unable to face off against the same level of opposition as a full, or even partial End cleric could.
Finally comes partying.
Without any Spirit, your SP will be lower and your spellcasting thusly more limitted, something at least offset in spiritless full endurance builds. Without Endurance, any monster dangerous enough that the extra damage you might deal it would be important is dangerous enough to kill you quickly and easily. You would use more heals on yourself with a lower SP total, making your character inefficient and pointless for anything other than bragging about how much damage you do to the monsters that are green to you anyway.
All in all? Bad idea.

Technically that's wrong, yet I agree that Strength is the most useless stat in the entire game. Remember you get bonus damage every 5 points so at level 50 thats... 60 points of damage, assuming you get 1 bonus point per 5. xD
Not a big difference and it still sucks, but it isn't +50 damage.
Clerics should never go outside SPR and END. There is just no reason to...

i agree, a mix of spr and end is better. maby after you go +25spr it would be ok to go with a 2:1 end:srt mix since you lost the crit, and by then youll have plenty of sp anyways...
any ideas on this anyone? i know it wouldnt really help dmg much, but it might come in handy...

I considered this path early on, and arrived at the conclusion that I would honestly consider a +0.1% critical hit chance and +5 Spirit more useful than +1 damage.
In the end though, 25 Spirit and the rest Endurance without adding strength at all I would consider more useful still, hit points are the currency that clerics trade in best after all. Combined with the increases in Block % and defence, more endurance translates to less time healing, which actually increases your damage in its own right.

true enough. i wish i could just make a copy of my char so i could play around with these things without ruining him....
ive also heard that dex might increase attack speed, is there any truth to this? i dont have any chars that run dex so i dont know...but i know that archers with long bows have a uber high normal attack rate at higher levels and they say its because of dex...
