haha!
Personally im a Pker, and hated by like half of bijou because of it?
Ehhh. I think that the Pkkers are commonly a bunch of low levels or friends of the low levels who step in. Commonly there is a group Pking in the abbys, and suddenly itbecomes this big war. Alot of timesin 4x abbys (which i cannot enter anymore :[ )
Oh well.
The Pkers dont usually have a reason to kill other than they are sheer evil, i Pk because i can, and when i am defeated i admit that they only needed 7 people to do it, but i did die :P

So to all you Pkkers....You cannot stop us :]
the funny thing is, Pkers (from experiance) are like in groups, this group of Pkers dont like "that" group of pkers, its kindof funny.

I chose an archer, not much power to pk with. beating a mage is like stepping on an ant...but fighters and clerics are another story.

archers are more suited for war as a group pvp. then we get to sit back and deal some good damage, and often get that last 500 or so damage with a good crit or two

but i would like a change...axe fighters have 1k+ def, at least 800 or so eva could even stuff out -throw a dog a bone plawks D:

The PKers will probably win, because they have more motive to kill. Their killing is for their OWN enjoyment and kill points. PKKing is about helping other players. Theres only so much people will do for strangers understandably. I am a PKKer.

the only thing i have a problem with is that when a pkker attacks a pker more people jump in to attack the pkker. and i doubt pkers will win, me and 3 other people killed a 74 fighter in 6x abyss when he came in and snuck everyone

yeah its true, people there for grinding are usually 7-12 lvs lower than the PKer, but with enough they can kill them. Have to say I still think most abyss deaths are from PKers 1v1ing randoms.

pkers watch out, because when i lvl you will call me The Terror of Death and you will fall before my blade

People killing people lower level than they are (PKers) are lack of skill so they will lost to any (PKKers) who are skillful in the first place and sick of the bullying. It is the freedom of will that whether you can killing somebody but do not. The distinguish point between a killer and warrior.

the problem isn't with lower lvls, they can't defend themselves from high lvls. so the next time you see a pker stop him/her and save someone emotional trauma.

As as for chosing sides.. i am Indeed a Pker.. with my current character back when i was in lvl 20 abyss i got 600 kill points, thats just counting that area alone.. not counting lvl 30 abyss.. or 40. I am currently making a New Pker.. i will not give info on his name or class.. I just hope some of you make a new character to give me a challenge...

PKers will typically only harass and hurt the people that either can't or won't fight back.
If I go into an abyss with a character of the correct level for that particular abyss the PKers who are up to 15 levels above the abyss level will immediately attack me, mock me and often use modified profanities on me.

If I change characters to one that is way over that abyss level and go immediately back to that same abyss those same people typically won't bother me unless it is just to test how easy I would be to kill.

They won't fight anyone on their own level because they only want to pick on other players that are easy to kill.
That and the fact that they don't want to risk losing any exp.

Pkers are the worst degenerate cowards in the entire game.
I had to go to an abyss yesterday because a PKer was harassing a guild member and as soon as I got there they all ran away and left the abyss as soon as they were confronted by a Cleric of their own level.
How pathetic.

If you are a loser in real life then you are a loser, and a strong character doesn't change that.

If anyone gets a reputation as being a Pker they should be treated with contempt by every other player.
Peer admonishment and public scorn is the only real solution to the problem.

Personally I would like to see a system where if a person kills 7 or more of players with a level of 5 or more below their own in a period of 7 days then they have to wear a title of "Loser" or "Coward" or "PKer" in front of their name for 30 days.

Let everyone see just what kind of a degenerate losers that they really are.

Right from my mind, zues, this is just a game and becoming aggravated, annoyed, infuriated, etc. over your animated pixel character being defeated by another animated pixel character is quite sad. I myself am a Pker of my commensurate abyss and if I want a challenge, I step up to the higher level abysses. Whether I triumph or fail in my abrupt assails among any player I see doesn't matter to me. The enjoyment of fighting players my level satisfies my thirst. I used to be on the leaderboards when it was first released, but Pkers of players generally much lower in level then the assailant (or Pker) have accrued drastically so the leaderboards mean nothing to me at all, seeing that most people take advantage over the lower level abysses instead of being one of the very few that spar with their level.

I used to sit at the 50 abyss gate and wait for noobs.
When these noobs entered i would tell them i wouldn't attack them, then.. when they least expected it.. I'd protect them ;o

Although i do admit i have pk'd once or twice.. when i'm in a bad mood or for whatever reason but 60% of my KPs are from PKK'ing, 30% are from PvP KQ and possibly 10% from being cruel :D

I never hit first though in all honesty, i sometimes just sit and dance with no armour till someone is stupid enough to hit me, that classed as Pk'ing?

Pkk'ers will win out eventually for one and one reason only....

well actually two reasons 1) there is by far to many of them compared to the pk'ers and 2) there much more organized then the pk'ers

PPK'ers usually form up outside abyss get a idea of whats going on in abyss befor the rush head long in to battle and they usually find out who to kill and who not to kill

and when pkk'ers start to kill some one whos been killing others, the ppls he/she killed will join in with the PKK'ers to get revenge thus greatly out #'ing them

but i have seen a few cases where PKK'ers have been totaly owned worse then if helga raped them... <_<

this usually happens when the few really strong PK'ers are online and join togeather usually its all fighters who will charm extend and fully scroll up and bring there best +9 gear with them

which in my view they are only lvling the battle field by doing that cus 5 high lvl charmed, extended, ext, ext..... fighters vs 20-40 other players isnt really fair odds <_<

for me its quite simple..... u kill my friends in abyss i kill u
if i cant get to u in abyss then guess what.... ill war u even if ur in a big guild cus guess what.... big guilds = not tactics in wars <_<

only time i ever will side with the PKK'ers is when one of my friends is being killed by a PK'er or if one of my close friends -or wife- is a PKK'er and asks me to come

but eventually i say the PKK'ers will start to get organized and then abyss will turn in to a no mans land <_<

which really isnt that bad seeing as the EXP AND DROP RATES SUCK IN THE ABYSS'ES NOW

PLS RAISE THE DARN DROP RATES BACK TO WHAT THEY WERE BEFOR U REMOVED THE LVL LIMIT ON THE ABYSS'ES >.<

btw if there were not so many lvl10-69 in the lvl 70 & 80 abyss there wouldnt be a big problem with PKK'ers now would there?

Rath, in all honesty 90% of PK'ing is done in lvl 20 abyss

I agree with that.
The level 20 Abyss is a disaster.
It tends to become less and less as the Abyss level increases.
The 30 Abyss is pretty bad too but the 40 Abyss is less.
50 Abyss is not so bad and the 60 Abyss is pretty civilized.
In the 70 Abyss there is almost no PKing.
There are only a few really degenerate players that go to the 70 Abyss looking for lower levels to kill.
If someone try's to bully other players or start trouble in the 70 or 80 Abyss they usually get ganged up on and beaten senseless by the other players there.

PK.

The PKKers are the ones who declared the war and they will lose it. :)

ROFL True story (and the reason why PKers will invariably win):

I was in the level 20 abyss with some of my guildlies and our noobs. There was a party consisting of two level 36 mages and a level 34 cleric all using +9 weapons. It was pretty funny to watch them pwn everything that moved.

A party came down and got eaten up, complained about it for a minute or so then said they'd be back with some friends. About five minutes later a dozen or so "PKKers" dropped into Apoline's 2X abyss to help out those who couldn't comprehend the meaning of an "at your own risk" PvP abyss.

Within two minutes all the PKKers had been pwned. After five minutes it had transgressed to domination, and as if I wasn't laghing hard enough (even though they pwned me like twenty times), after fifteen minutes of the knights in shining armor appearing in the abyss the whole thing had become a massacre (I think the PKers added a lvl 3X cleric to their party in that time too).

What made this so great was that the PKKers were so vulger shouting swear words all over the place while the PKers (supposedly the bad guys) only responded with various smilies, dances, and "Smile it's abyss PvP."

So idk... it's noble I think to lable oneself as a PKKer, but you have to realize that people don't go to the abyss killing if they aren't confident that they can take anyone. Take Nana for instance, she was so confident in her ability to wreck the 6X abyss that she put up 5g and her Axe if anyone could beat her. She is, (IMHO), the all-time legend of PKers and no army of PKKers could team up and beat her.

I currently don't endorse PKers or PKKers. I don't have much respect for either since most of the time it's simply a matter of who has the most real life mula to spend making their character powerful.

So, so, so, so true! PKK'ers pride themselves on being the 'good guys', but I find that the majority of them actually have worse personalities than PK'ers! It's ridiculous how upset they get if they die, when they came with an intent to kill you in the first place!

Tamlinari

The answer to the question is....

whichever side buys the most charms from cash shop.

Bingo!
We have a winner!
Someone who can see what is really going on here.

The thing is, it is an endless war.

Let me reiterate what I posted in another thread.

Ok, this is my opinion.
PKers are mentally sick people with the same type of deviant instincts that criminals have.
They are prone to hurting other people for no reason other than to satisfy their need or desire for the gratification they get from doing harm.
Evil, Bad, Degenerate.
That is a PKer.

Now I know that the PKKers believe full well that they are doing a good thing by trying to stop the PKers from harassing the lower levels but the problem with that is it plays right into the scenario of what Outspark expected would happen.

The purchase of more extensions and more charms and more and more cash shop items to combat the what is perceived to be the growing threat.

Now I am not for taking sales away from the cash shop but this divide and conquer approach just makes me sick.

My solution the the problem that has been created is to reject anyone who is known to be a PKer from your parties, from your Guilds and treat them like the sick minded bad kids that they are.
Only the scorn of their peers will make them quit killing lower levels.
And when I say lower levels I mean 10 levels below their own or more or anyone who kills or harasses others without provocation.

If you treat these degenerate sick minded people with respect and like hero's they will never quit and you will only encourage more unbalanced people to act the same way.

As it happens in real life so it is the same in the game, create a war and cause two factions to fight with each other and make a bunch of money selling equipment to both sides.

In my opinion the PKKers should stop fighting the PKers and just let then kill all of the lower levels until those lower levels raise so much hell about the abuse that Outspark has to do something about it.
Continue to buy from the cash shop of course but don't buy into the deception.

It's just my opinion.

We have that here in Fiesta. It's called "to abyss or not to abyss".

While I agree that PKers should die a horrible death for needlessly making leveling harder than it alerady is, we have a flag system. <.<

Sadly you haven't backed up your little argument here. It's been through this so many times; Abyss is not the only zone you can gain experience in! It is a PvPvE area in terms of content and whats allowed within; if you want a pure PvE zone with no consequences whilst still gaining experience, questing, or furthering your character, visit any number of other zones available.

There are 6 Abyss Zones and 3 Free Battle Zones. There are easily 30+ other zones which do not have PvP enabled like those 9. The Abyss is *not* needed to enjoy the game, the Abyss is *not* needed to cap.

Please, take a look at some other zones or dungeons for once.

And in the near future (next cap raise), we get specialized instances. If people are still complaining about needing Abyss to level/make money with instances, PvE only zones, KQ's, and quests - I'll be out of words. ('course we all know they will complain still~)

PKKrs are just PKrs looking for an excuse to PK, hiding behind the veil of "justice, rights, honor, revenge, yadda yadda"........... This poll makes about as much sense as a snake eating its own tail :D

At least most PKers are honest enough to admit "Yes, I like to PK. Thats what I do.....So?...."

I wonder why Blackshot is still on hold?, because so far i dont saw any indications that he is ready to download.
And to the topic.
Its really sad to watch how divided and full of hate this community become.
Outspark (despite many warnings from the past that people will abuse to the last possibility such feature as pvp) pushing this feature whit actually unexplaining stubbornes and i think so far apex of this illogical movement were unfamous holiday quests in FBZs.
Over half year after end of CB period Fiesta was fine whit pvp aspect in form of Guild Wars but then i think if staff will never start to soften Guild war rules(turning them to not worth even one copper "suggestions") people will learn that any violation of such rules might end for them in very unpleasant way.
If i recall correct there was at Teva example of dismissing guild by GM Dakkon because of hard violation of Guild War Rules.
But beginning of the current drama take place when 28/10 patch come from Korea...
But now... staff behave like Pilatus during trial, they wash thier hands from newbies blood and pretend that there is no issues whit abused pvp (in order to not harm CS sale) but this is road to nowhere...

Hmmmm....A lot of you dont seem to understand the attraction and concept of the PK abyss and FBZ

It gives an oppurtunity to play a whole different style of game under the Fiesta format. The idea isnt quests or KQs, as a matter of fact, the idea really isnt to level up (for the abyss, anyway) but to stay under Level X6 as long as humanly possible. It also lets me study different types of attack sequences

Learning how to outhink your opponent is the key to victory, not how much money one can spend on SparkCash (which I hear get thrown around a lot). A person who spent $50 or more to go all +9 on everything but doesnt know how to press proper attack sequences can get killed by a smart player with no sparkcash but who studies weaknesses and knows where and when to use skills

You sound like abysses were place where Code of Chivalary is a basic behavior.
I have no doubt that there are people who actually have such Codex of Honor but most of the pkers dont care to give thier opponents any chances.
They just sit near spawn points and kill anybody who will show there.
What you posted are rules of true pvp witch in case of fiesta dont egsist.
But i will repeat once again such debates about pvp in Fiesta are pointless because each argument from side of anty pkers is contradicted by side of the pkers and circle spin and spin and spin...

*Laughs at Tamlinari's ideals*

PKers don't care. Outspark certainly don't care and it's in people's nature to retaliate (PPKers). The abyss is intended for risky leveling, not easy EXP.

I don't like PKers because it's quite low to kill lower level players; but most of them do it for fun, not because they have bad, evil and degenerate minds.

What really fails with Fiesta's PvP system is that there are no level range-specific battle zones to go with the free for alls. Lower level players are discouraged to enter PvP because they frequently get mowed down by higher level players.

No, its not a joke. There are honorable PKrs and there are jackholes. These days there are more jackhole PKrs than honorable ones. Go to any nightclub or busy mall and you can see the best and worst in people in a mere snapshot of time in real life

If players want the extra exp of abyss monsters and all the extra drops, then they should prepare to deal with the consequences of walking into it.

I'd have to say that PKKs usually have to mob PKs because PKs are generally as high lvled as possible for an area. They are usually equipped with as many CS items and scrolls as possible, probably because once they've used them once they wanna show off how strong they are with them on.

Also, a PK is fully prepared for combat, where PKKs are usually a random group of a characters friends in a spur of the moment party gathered to fight PKs

Oh, and I think the lvl limits on the abyss need to be more strict. The mid-low lvl players for an abyss actually go there to grind, the high lvled ones usually only go there to PK.

99% of all Fighters come at me with 'Stun' from the get-go and start pounding debuffs aimlessly with no rhyme or reason, then you get the exact reason why I, as a Cleric, am able to beat players who should, by level, build, and definition, be able to beat me with no problem. Mindless button-pushing will always make me win

:D I totally agree with Klothos - he's very right here. Button mashing will get you nowhere in this game :D
