Blacksmith degrading any failed+ attempt?

Ok so I went to try and plus 5 my weapon and it failed and I got my weapon downgraded -1 I was like ok the Blacksmith himself states it will go -1 or even brake the equip after 6 going for +7.

Then I went like ooook.. Tried to go +2 on my armor failed then my armor went to +0...

What the hell happened there? is that normal? downgrading no matter what +?

Hope you can help me in this matter, I'm not asking for anything but to know for sure if the Blacksmith is glitched or is it normal.

It IS normal for a +5 equipment to downgrade to +4 on a failed attempt at enhancing.

It IS NOT normal for a gear BELOW +4 to downgrade when enhancing.

Ah ok but problem is my armor was at +4 going for a +5 =(. But well its good to know that downgrade starts from +5 and not from +7. Thanks for your time =D.

The only time I've ever had it downgrade was when I went for +5 and it went down to +3. I've never had it fail and downgrade before +4.

There is NO downgrade penalty if you fail from +0 to +3..

Downgrade from +4, Results to +3
Downgrade from +5, Results to +3
Downgrade from +6, Results to +2/+3

As stated from Compassion, It is definitely not normal for the gear to start downgrading unless it's at +4 before trying to enhance again. I've never had that glitch before in my 1 year of playing. :3 Did you have screenshots of this before and after to provide? Maybe it'll help.
