Should i upgrade my own items with elrues, lix, and xirs or should i buy them?

Other question:

i know this is not related to the topic but i couldn't find the place for this plus im a lvl 15 fighter. I got a lucky xir from KQ so i wanted to know if anyone knows how much it is and if anyone wanted to buy it.

sell ur lucky xir for around 2-5 silver, it depends on how fast you want it to go. Overnight, 5 S, in about 3 hours, 2 S

dont upgrade or buy upgraded weapons unless your rich or get elrue for free.. But around lvl 30, BUY upgraded weapons, dont try to make them unless u want it to be +2-3.
