Hey, I was doing a King Slime KQ with my mage last night, when I had an awesome idea. We should try doing this Kingdom Quest with ALL level 16 Mages. Mages have the most DPS of any class, and I imagine that if you get enough powerful mages together, you wouldn't even need a tank. Anyway, here are the basic rules for this, post here or PM me if you'd be interested!
1) You must be a Mage, level 15-16. Preferably level 16. I will not party anyone who comes with another class, or a level 5-14 character. Weaker mages will not help at all, and in order to pull this off we'd need all the firepower we could get.
2) We would have to work together. Three parties of 5, determined before we ever embark. Have 5 mages target something, and it's going to die, fast. And, for the bigger monsters, like the Warrior Boars and Prince Slimes, all three parties could work on one at once! More to come on tactics.
3) No loot whoring. You run ahead to grab a shiny item, and you'll get yourself, and maybe someone else killed. We hang back, kill everything in sight, and then run forward like good little grab monkeys.
4) Don't draw more than your party can chew. This goes along with the "we work together" rule. Each party will have a designated "puller". First they fire something off, and then everyone else follows suit. Don't fire till your puller does, and target their target.
We'll be going for a Kingdom Quest sometime around Friday-Sunday this week, if we can get enough people interested. I will post the time in GMT on this thread, as well as a link to a GMT converter if you don't know GMT. ANd, I'll add more as I think of it, since I have to run off for classes right now. Questions, comments, suggestions, concerns? I think this would be a lot of fun, but I need some help to pull it off! Oh, and I can also provide a HP/SP/Accuracy/Defense scroll for some of the people involved. Maybe all of them! It'll take me some time to know for sure.
