tryin to make a poll on weather archers are luck or not i have an archer only lvl 15 but hey i jusyt started

Well there is a certain amount of luck and skill. You see people don't admit it but all classes need luck.

Yes but archers seem to focus a little more on percentage with dex and spr being main ones meaning they have to rely on Crits and dodges so they have more luck involved than other skills

I think archers require skill and luck depending on the situation. If you solo a great deal and manage to do so relatively easily, than you got skill. If you get by every single encounter with barely any HP or SP left, then your lucky.

I'd rather be lucky than skilled though, because luck can always lead to interesting results.

Archer is the most difficult class.

In parties, an archer is always support and misses out on boss drops.

Solo, an archer has to watch out all the time to keep from being flanked and to avoid running into other mobs while kiting.

When an archer is kiting, well-meaning players think the archer is running away and steal the kill in an attempt to help. Sometimes they just steal the kill because the opportunity is hard to pass up.

Archers are so fragile that depending on crit is a way of life. Otherwise, an archer might as well grind honeyings all day.

To be an archer is to be on the edge. If you're bored playing archer, you're not doing it right.

Archer is a good class. I prefer it to a mage because personally it's more fun to me. Also we do have a 15m range not 13.5 highest and with skill points you can lower ur cool time on your skills. Damage wise I have always outparsed a mage. I see it as if I can pull hate from a tank spamming kick, Im doing awsome. I have also used Nature's Protection and have yet to see a mob go after anyone but the tank. I do believe that the skill is single target. So I don't see how it means it'll go after a mage or cleric on the off chance that they can actually cause the same amount of DoT as me. I can also solo effectivly well. Crits or no, although they make solo fights go by much faster. In the end I think 2 archers or a mage and archer is just as good as 2 mages. Remember no matter how good gear is it always comes down to a players skill at their job. You can have all +6 and green gear and still suck. Just my worthless opinion :)

I dont think its all luck, it is aslo skill.

Plus Archers Rule! Sometimes they just dont get enough credit....

Some luck involved for poisoning/bleeding. But others is depended on your build.

It is mostly skill envolved, as long as you know your limits you can go a long way. I've played and archer and a cleric and I find my archer more fun to play, not because I die every now and then because of the skill I need for it. As a cleric all I need to do is spam heal, where is the fun in that? Though yes I do rely on luck sometimes, when in a mob I rely mostly on it, but when I solo it takes skill.

Yes. Clerics can solo best, archers are weak in defence but they chip off alot of hp before monsters reach them.

it depends how how u use the character but i agree, evey class takes atleast some bit of skill

Well the good archers need skill,but for all the noob archer it takes luck. I personally can tank just as well as a warriror and thats no luck.

Yes there is such a thing. Every time you level you receive a free stat to do with as you please.
