Game Down ?

I just downloaded the game, signed into the launcher, launched the game, and when i get to in game screen it tells me that " connection to servers failed " several times...

does this mean all servers are down, because i believe i read on the maintenance that the servers are unaffected .... I am confused

Is the game down or what? any time when it will be up? i am new and eager to play
