when gathering a bar and a yelow line apear do i have to do anything while gathring to get better items like pushing a button at the right time if yes tell me exactly what to do

By clicking on the yellow line on the gathering bar, you obtain whatever item is being harvested faster. And sometimes it gives you a better item (higher level than normal).
If you click it at the right time (when the green bar moves and reaches the yellow line), the yellow line will glow. That's when you know you clicked it at the right time. It takes some practice XD

King's Touch has a different effect.
It speeds up you gathering 100%

As for clicking the yellow line....
Clicking on the yellow line doesn't guarantee it will glow. When the green bar moves, it has to be exactly right on the mark of the yellow line for you to click it to glow.
It's very tricky and it takes a few tries.

Last I heard the gathering bar was glitched, but I have no idea if it's been fixed or not.

But if it does work, then what has been stated above will make it work. And if it doesn't seem to be working, even if you time it perfectly, it's more than likely still glitched.

Yeah I tried it a couple of days ago doing that battlezone chest quest and I clicked on the yellow line right when the green bar reached it and BAM it instantly opened XD

So yes, I believe its been fixed

Think of it this way.

If you got King's Touch, the harvesting time would be decreased when you use it.

Now, if you also clicked on the yellow bar while using King's Touch, you'd get an even quicker harvest, since by clicking on that bar at the right time allows you to immediately harvest the items after.

So both compliment eachother. It's almost like...using an exp boost card when there is an exp boost on certain maps.

That simply means that when the green bar reaches the yellow line and you just so happen to click at that perfect moment, the items will spawn out of whatever you were harvesting from. Also, like I said earlier, this is VERY TRICKY and isn't always going to happen when you click on the yellow line

King's Touch has a different effect.
It speeds up you gathering 100%

This means you are guaranteed to not have to wait for whatever you are harvesting from to pop out. Just click on a chest or whatever you are "harvesting" and item will spawn out of it

I'm mining for silver and I have to use my pickaxe usually 6 or seven times before the item appears. I arm myself with my trusty King's touch and now
I only use my pickaxe 3 or 4 time before the item appears.

Are you saying that if I don't use my King's touch I could still get the item I'm mining the same or even quicker by using the bar? Hence 2100SC wasted.

OR

Are you saying that by using kings touch and the bar and can get it quicker than just using the bar.

If this bar does now work (will try it out later) I would imagine it's a bit hit and miss whether or not it gets the item faster every time. So probably I would still use King's touch when doing the boring mining for a week.

When you click on the bar at the right time it completely stops the harvesting process and gives you your items. So whether or not you use Kings Touch or not, if you click on it at the right time, you'll get your items.

But it doesn't always work and can be a little frustrating. So it's probably a good idea to have Kings Touch just in case.

And I apologize if this isn't making any sense. Forums + 4am don't quite mix XD

just been mining for last 3 hours and trying to hit that bar ... did not get it even once.

So I guess it's still King's touch for me.
