Vitality [02] Scammers Abound

I know that the older players will see this scam immidiately, but there has been several players in Elderine trying to sell "Vtiality [02]" to the general public. Vitality [02] is a Fighter Skill Scroll

Make sure you get the PRODUCTION SCROLL not the SKILL SCROLL. Read what you buy guys.

Make sure your SCROLL PRODUCTION Vitality 2 scroll says the following:

"A Learning Scroll,when used, teaches Vitality (Tier 2) (Production Skill)"

it's not bannable unless the shop name states "production" or anything to do with production skill. most of these scammers have no shop name however so all we can do is sit back and watch...

T2 vitality is one of the oldest scamm in Fiesta history :).
And i remember how often many posters suggested that vitality t2 production skill should be put at sale for NPC skill master or in Nina's shop for Fame.
But staf neeever lisening :rolleyes: and all we can do is pay very good attention if we do not buying fighter skill instead of production skill.

I'm really surprised people actually still use this method to scam people because they changed the icons around so that one with a pink centre is a True Vit Tier 2 Production Scroll. So this method to scam people would be much harder compared to what it was awhile ago.

I wouldn't be surprised if people still fall for it though but I saw someone selling a Fighter Vitality Skill Tier 2 in Elderine yesterday for 500 silver. So I know people still think this method works.

Personally I think the fighter Vitality skill should be completely renamed to something else to completely defeat this method of scamming.

Honestly in order to end at least this particular scamm OS should put that scroll as afordable via NPC <Master Keast or Nina for example> and made him untradealbe.
I think this case and whole city transit system is one of the weakest points in Fiesta.
But that is subject for completly different thread. ;)

Whoever set this shop do not advertising this scroll as production skill but label his shop as general sale.
So note for all future posters, before you start report everyone around for scamming over T2 vitality check very carefully how they are advertising othervise we very quick fail in T2 vit scamm paranoia.
As staff once claryfy that ONLY people who advertising T2 vitality Fighter skill scroll AS T2 VIT SCROLL PRODUCTION SKILL can be considered as scammers, otherwise there is no scamm.

Its still a scam, it cannot be reported unless it has false advertising. The product is being sold with the intention that it will be mistaken for something else, not being sold with the intention of being overpriced by a couple thousand percent.

Please be aware that just because you cannot be reported for it doesn't mean there are not malicious intentions behind it.

It originally was available from all four of the *class* Master NPCs in Elderine, in fact I still have a few unused T2 production skill learning scrolls on my other cleric that were purchased from them. Though I'm over on Epith, I presume they were all the same.

I wonder why they changed it so that the learning scrolls had to be farmed, since it was fine the way it was before and still had the difficulty of getting materials limiting how fast people could increase their production skills.

In addition, I can't help but wonder if a lot of the price inflation Epith has seen lately in the marketplaces is related to the removal of the T2 production skill scrolls from the NPCs.

Beside since i give up long time ago my scroll production i never pay attention at vendors selling such production scrolls, all reasons for my post was to recall OS stance in case of such scamm and you are absolutly correct.
We should be 1000% sure if we are entilted to report someone over this or any sort of scamm before we start to report people over this.
Renegadeoflife hyperinflation at Fiesta have her base in abysses not because of removal of T2 scrolls from NPC.
Since abysses introduction<till 10/28 patch witch mess everything> people start to earn more and more money from 50% bigger drop rate there as at regular maps and very soon prices set in golds become more and more common.
3 motns ago good green unenchanced lvl 50 gear cost around 600 - 800 s, now 1 - 2 g <yes i saw such prices in Eldy.
+X gears prices oscilated in borders between 5 - 10g.
Situation is bad and i doubt that OS will do something to regulate Fiesta Market.
