Before you read this: I'm sorry if this has been posted and discussed already! I want to get into the SoS closed beta (I don't know how yet, but hopefully I can do it later) and I watched the trailer for the game. ..It brought back a couple of memories..from a whole different game.
It was really just more of a suspicion at first, but please answer me, and I don't mean to sound like a wise guy or anything: Is this game just another private server of Ragnarok Online or is it a completely different game using Ragnarok's engine?
If it's just using Ragnarok's game engine, is the levelling and are the items still the same? Are there any other major differences? The only difference I noticed is that the people actually run instead of walking all the time.
Maybe I'm just confused by the way the two games look, but some of the monsters, textures, and overall environments that I saw seem like carbon-copies. I really want to try SoS but not if it's something I've already played before.. I've never seen this before so I'm just a little curious, thanks in advance for any answers.
