Where is best map for 48 archer to get xp?

im 48 scout and cant find a area where the monsters dont take forever to kill just to get some xp and the weaker ones give me around .1% so any hints on a map with at least.3% per kill would be nice and ty for the info.:rolleyes:

I'm trying to think back that long ago.... I trained a lot in shiao forest before moving onto west eir. I think I was 3 maps into west eir until I turned 66. I will make this point though. Grinding isn't about exp per kill, but exp per given amount of time. For example let's say it takes you 10 seconds to kill a monster that nets you .1, and it takes you 35 seconds to kill a monster that nets you .3. Although the monster that gives you .3 seems like a better bet, if you look at it from a time perspective you can kill 3 monsters that net .1 in 30 seconds. Although I tend to solo in the harder maps, because I like the challenge, but it's all how you like to play the game.

since u seem to use sc, i suggest u amass as much pow as u can and train in rudwork path, or proteron

suggestion: buy pow president hat(if still available), cowboy suit, kung fu bow, death mask, and pow buffs

NOTE: this is only is you are used to handling agros, if u are a scout that relies on defense in some way, this path is not for u

but if u run out of sc try bailey plains, they give .2 % per kill there wen ur lvl 48 and kills are fast there

I dont know the exact level for the following sequence, just do what you deem fit.
This is for solo, and my 2cent worth of recommendation:

I will start off from West CV and beyond (sharks... and maps after that)...

If you find the map easy to handle, you may start proceeding to West Eir beyond

after which, try East CV , follow by Skitchy, than Rudwork Path.
(Skitchy and Rudwork are North Eir)


***Note, after skitchy, you may try out maps above Jots as well. They (Spirte and look alike) drops fairy powder.
***Note again, please have high def to train there as ranged aggros mobs are really irritating. (i skipped here)

After rudwork, you will than proceed to Loren Valley follow by Morph than Edine or Chant

after so, it will be Blackmail Forest(after edine) and maps after Chant and beyond.

There is other methods as well. (eg: AoE / Group party)

Above is purely solo method of mine. Each map can last you 2~3 level.
When you get bored, you may wish to tag with a mage or another scout to proceed to the next destination.

lvl 54-60: Titanus (north eir) i suggest having a marksmanbow ap6
lvl 60-66: RUdwork path
lvl 66-70: loren
lvl 70-80: chantery, acidbath.

you can do this without a healer and it is really convenient.
have a mask at all times

hmmm i started training @ loren @ lvl 54..i went to north air from 45-54..u can do loren @ 54 wid cloak and mask if u wna spend a lil

ok.. but what if I can't use masks and i dont use sc.
and sometimes, scout items w/ ap6 are hard to find.

What if I'm just a regular player that does not use sc?

If you don't use sc, I would suggest duoing with an app or a mage. Bailey is still a good place to solo at 45, but if you go two maps beyond that, there are lots of aggro mobs and they hit really hard. So starting 5x, I would find apps to duo with in north Eir maps, and stay in Proteron or Rud until 66 or beyond. No point rushing into Loren without a good bow or SC. Do save your krons and xens for a good accuracy bow at 66.
