The reason I like this game so much is because it's like a small town. Not that I like small towns, the stuff that goes on behind those quaint, adorable doors at best only matches the sins that go on in the big city streets.
No, I like to watch people. Watch them grow. Not really people I know, just the same random people I see in the crowds of Xen vendors and Yellow Watermelon pushers over and over. I like it, it's almost like I'm a part of their lives, like a weird piece of furniture with none of the ugly benefits such as "friendship" or "loyalty". It just gives me a nice feeling to see everyone grow up, a sense of kinship, of knowing that they're going through-or went through-the same...uh...crap I did in this purgatory world of grinding and 12 hour AoE "parties" (I'm not quite there yet, but I've seen what it does to people). It's cool that to see after all those yellow egg shouts, that lvl 12 Xenian I first saw and stalked bought a weapon with more money than I've ever had or even seen ever.
So next time you see me, don't say hi,
