Purpose of Thread:
Welcome to the recruitment thread for the Free Player Alliance, a sub-guild for the Free Players Union. This thread is EXCLUSIVELY for RECRUITING members, not for idle chit-chat or updated information. Purpose of Guild:
This guild has two purposes. Our first purpose is the same as our parent guild: to bring together members of the Solstice community who don’t use sparkcash items, such as exp boosters, and equipment boosters, and help them keep up with those who do use sparkcash to get ahead. We help each other level and keep up with sparkcash users, but we are not limited to only non-cash users; EVERYONE is welcomed to join, we only ask that you at least have sympathy for those of us who cannot afford sparkcash.

The second purpose is to feed more players active into the main guild: Free Players Union. We have set in place a Graduate Program in which we take lower leveled players and train them up to pass along the guild ranks.

Miscellaneous Information:
Meeting Place: Candyvault, Blacksmith Area. This is the blue building on the map, which is above the pond and below the entrance to Harrington Forest.

Meeting Times: Currently Not Happening. 6pm PST Saturday or 10am PST Sunday. The two different times are for people in different time zones; you only have to make it to one meeting, as we will mostly talk about the same things at both.

How Meetings Work: Meetings are conducted in regular chat, not guild chat, so that EVERYONE hears what’s going on as a whole group, to keep the guild, main and sub, together as a whole. Guild Leaders will first make any announcements about the guild or events the guild plans to hold, and then we open it up to members who want to announce or discuss anything. Meetings are really loose and aren’t formal, but MEETINGS ARE MANDATORY.

Graduate Program:
This is a new idea that is unique to the Free Players Union, as far as I know, and it is still in the beginning stages. So far, this is how it will work (be aware that any of this can change at any time):

Members start in the guild that their level matches with. If you are within level 30-45 you start in the Free Player Alliance, and if you are level 45 or above you start in Free Players Union. These levels will change depending on how many people are interested in this program, and more guild levels may be added in the future.

All members, no matter what level, are still members of the Free Players Union. We all follow the same guild beliefs, attend the same guild meetings, and are able to participate in the same guild events. As of now, none of our events are affected by a player’s level, so higher levels don’t have an advantage over lower levels.

Once a player reaches the minimum level requirement for the next guild, and have proven to be active, they move to the next guild. This allows for players to continuously have guild-mates at a similar level to train with. This way, there isn’t a level 30 who wants to go out and train but everyone else in the guild is level 60+, and so too high to help.

If the level for joining the guild changes while you are in the guild, the level requirement will not affect you. This means that if you are level 46 and in the Free Players Union, and we decide to add another sub-guild causing the level requirement for FPU to jump up to 50+, you won’t be knocked down to the lower guild. You can, however, choose to move into the lower guild to be with people around your level again.

Advancement also depends on availability. In order to advance to the next level, you first have to reach the correct level, prove you are active, and there has to be space available. Because of the 25 member cap current set for all guilds, you may have to wait until we open another sub-guild, the member cap is increased, or somebody sadly leaves us.

Making me show up to add people, such a demanding wife. And on top of that, my lame friend wouldn't wait in line for me to get Vic's autograph so I was doubly sad saturday. But I got to see him in two of his panels and recorded some of them. I even recorded the last time that he will ever say "Roy Mustang is dead sexy in a mini-skirt". He vowed to never say it again after that. Did you know that there is going to be another season of FMA?
