Full STR with a +9 Hammer (prefribly) then yeah.

People find it VERY hard to kill you.

And you can kill mages even higher lvl then you easy, and alot of archers. Fighters are harder though; by the time you deal some damage, they stun you and just stone.

My cleric is most STR, and yes he is good 1v1, not the best however. Clerics aren't designed for PvP, remember that!

clerics prob tie with archers as worst at pvp in the later levels. pvp is all about dealing loads of dmg within a few seconds, and clerics not only have low dmg, they only have 2 attack skills (even with full str, dmg output cant compare with that of a mage or fighter). clerics are built around survivability and support, and although they are tough to take down in pvp, they just cant kill other players their level post game.

ull find that mages and fighters are the best at pvp, since they not only dish out loads of dmg, but can also completely disable their targets (fighters have stun, mages have fear). while feared/stunned, a cleric cannot not use any skills, including heal, and thats what leads to their demise in most cases.

Yes, but it takes more than just having an STR build and enhanced weapons. The secret is to know your enemy, and be able to prepredict his/her hotkey sequence in advance

For example, lets talk about FIGHTERS: 9 out of 10 Fighters will try to Stun you out of the gate, so dont even bother attacking immediately, just be prepared to have yourself survive the Stun round, so prepare to pot or stone from the beginning and/or if you can get your Invincible buff on in time. A lot of them will also unload every debuff skill they have from the getgo. There is a little margin/window where the debuffs wear off and the skills are in cooldown: this is the time to strike hard. This will go on for several rounds, in which your goal is to attack some but mainly just survive stun. (Restore is one of your biggest friends in PvP situations, as it can help you survive most stun rounds easier as well as negate percentages of any damage you are taking) The key is to be patient: most Fighters will get antsy, bored, or whatever and start getting sloppy. The timing of their sequences starts to wane or they try to run as to not waste any more pots and stones on you: This is the time for you to make your move and strike hard and relentlessly. If timed right, you will wear down the Fighter who is now on the defensive

Certain Fighters, like DD Fighters with +9s, are almost impossible to beat as you will never survive the Stun

Players of every class have certain attributes that they try to utilize so its best to try to understand each. The best way to do this is to actually create other characters and play them

Dont make the mistake of assuming everybody of a class is a carbon copy: above is what a good bulk of Fighters do, but not all. Studying your enemy is studying them individually

Also, understand yourself - your own strengths and weaknesses. For example: using Auto Attack and Bash can actually make you hit a normal hit/Bash combo faster in the right sequence/combination/timing.

Being massively enhanced by STR build, STR Greens, and STR rings helps a great deal, but for a Cleric to win at PvP of similar levels, the trick is to outthink your opponent

IMO, you learn alot through leveling. Especially in places such as PoA.

Here people have developed there signature moves. And from this point onwards you start to forsee what's happening next.

Listen to this guy - he says stuff we all cba to.

People have already said it that clerics aren't really built for PVP. Klothos said it the best.

In the PVP KQ I am able to survive from attacks (when we're talking about 1 person and not multiple people attacking me a tht e same time) of people who are 2 or 3 levels higher than me. Sure the fighters may stun, the archer attacks froma distance so I have to zoom out to find him, and the mage also attacks from a distance but does a lot of damage, but I when my HP is low, I time it so I use the HP stone in the knick of time when stunned or something. I am capable of surviving the attacks. The only reason I die is when someone hits me with a hammer or people gang up on me.

It's frustrating not being able to dish out a huge number of damage, but I guess our healing makes up for that. And plus we get a huge amount of stones as well.
