Warriors are a really-nice all around class, I experienced having trouble taking them out, due to the fact that their shields can absorb plenty of damage, even from skills and strong attacks, the only way I could take them down was by constantly freezing, burning, freezing, etc.

Monks are great for Mobbing. Great choise iKimoto and Kerpix.
Edit: Beast Masters are great. You like summon this dog thing and it grabs there leg, hitting 25s on them for like..forever. There really annoying in PvP :P Good pick guys.

Im going with archer because I made a Warrior before and didn't like it one bit. You have to be close to the monster to hit it and often times if you try to use a skill they have enough time to walk into and cancel your skill before you even get to use it.

Im faithful to all classes sneaky or arrow shooting, thats why Im going to make my main an Archer. I love archers and the distance they get when they fight, plus they ussually have a more interesting arsenal of attacks then the other classes. =)

Ok, from what ive seen, everyone thinks archers will own.. that may b true when its like 4v4 and u have a whole team of spamming archers, but if u 1v1 a rogue, he can counter almost all of your shots, especially jump shots. Priests r great because they level the fastest when mobbing, mainly because their mp recharges very fast, and their main skill recharges fast and hits all monsters surrounding the hit. Plus if u heal in PvP people will love u. I have two words for mages... Strong & slow.. one of the easiest for the rogue to pick off in a PvP. And btw, trappers own, jus because when its 5v5, but it turns to 5v1 and he is left, everyone will follow him and he can jus lay out traps for them to walk into, so watch where you go. Unskilled warriors are bad in PvP, cause u can easily counter their close ranged attacks. Monks are tough 1v1 if they are skilled, cause their fire kicks can hit u, even if they r right ontop of you. They all have their pros/cons, it jus depends on what you are going to use them for. BTW im a rogue fan and just out of the blue, i know about 2 mobbing spots for novices where u wont get hit, and about 3 for long ranged classes, again where u wont get injured. So i will take screenshots where they are after update so everyone can level up easier.

I started as rogue but I didn't like it that much. If I ever go melee again I'm making a warrior to exploit shielding a bit more.

My first char, "Olivia", is a mage. It's a pretty good class, they deal some nice damage. But after a while it gets boring, and imo they're not the best in pvp.

My other char, "serenity", is a priest. I highly reccomend it, because if you use the right stats, they're good both solo and in partys. Once again tho, not so good in pvp, unless they just go around healing.

Well, I'm a mage at heart. However, I'm thinking towards the future, when there might be even a third class tier, like say... a LICH! (hey, it was hinted at in a description so I'm allowed to dream)

Mages are fun to play as though, at least at lower lvls. I see how they can be slaughtered easily later on in the game though.

I think this would be my preference order:

1. Mage - (I always play magic classes first to get a feel for the game)
2. Priest - see #1, and I want to help other classes
3. Monk - sounds like Chun-Li from Street Fighter :3
4. Archer - as long as I don't have to pay for arrows...-_-
5. Warrior - I've never liked tanking much
6. Rouge - never been big on rouges, but that might change

My preference as of now is

Monk - Always loved high damage/high hp characters, which I'm assuming this is. I'm going to make the game harder on myself on purpose and use Counter if I choose this class. Shaolin looks promising to.

Archer - Long range is also nice to have. Going for sniper here, IF arrows are free. If they are not free, cheap as can be (1 in game currency per arrow)

Rogue - Always liked fast characters. Going for assassin on this route

Warrior - Hate having a target on myself, but if I really want to play this class, berserker is what I will go for.

Mage - Even more of a target. Going for summoner

Priest - Meh, never liked them. If I bother, I'll use the Dark Priest >.>

@zephros and graviton, i agree i couldnt find ANY arrows in CB mainly because i didnt try hard, but i picked up a few from monsters. cheap arrows would be great
