You start out as a beginner with no skills, but you learn the newbie skills by quests and there are 2 newbie skills that are sold by this man besides the forge anvil and concoction table. You don't really need it for battle anyway. Your first skill to learn is Double Jump its learned by talking to Murubisiri who you'll meet in the first map. His quest tells you to kill one Pupu do that, and return to him. Then he gives you the double jump skill which can be activated by pressing the up button while your pressing up to jump. (these skills are useful in combat/pvp) On the third map you'll meet Grazie this man here is a traveler that has hurt his leg. he asks you to tell his wife about what happened. Go to the next map and talk to the woman, then talk to her again she will give you a First Aid Kit go back to Grazie, and then its finished he will give you the dash skill you can dash by pressing left or right two times

The skills that you don't need for battle are herb gathering, mining, concoction, mineral refining, and reinforce. Concoction and mineral refining can be purchased from the alchemist npc. These skills can also be upgraded at the same npc. You can learn herb gathering from Rona in the fist town. Mining is learned from Gangdalf, the village elder, by retrieving 2 pieces of wood. Wood can be found using herb gathering at one of the herbal farms. And also Gandalf and Leon gives you two skills, Defend and Strong Attack. For completing the two quests, you gain the skill "strong attack" which is a slower but stronger attack you can attack a little further your weak attack. The strong attack quest can be done at level 5, he asks you to get 5 Well-Done Doo-Doos, which is easily earned by blue pupu.

The second skill that Leon gives is open shop, for his quest you have to collect: 5 Crumpled Newspapers, 5 Herb Seeds, 5 Brown Dyes, and 5 blue mushrooms. Then the skill lets open shops in the free market.

Gandalf gives you this defend skill that makes monsters do no damage if they are attacking you with a weak attack. Warriors take reduced damage from strong attacks thanks to their shields. For the quest he asks you to kill Rynx, the first boss monster. He spawns on the two red circles on your map. You must defeat him and get his fur or buy the fur.

For the first job advancement, you must travel to Ozi Village. After meeting with your preferred class's job instructor, finish their job change quest. The advanced license may be purchased from the weapon seller for 100 gold and 100 victy. You must do arena to attain the necessary victy.

I wouldn't mind showing some new players the ring when it comes to PvP, it's fairly simple. There's some tricks that help you increase hit-stun, movement speed, etc. (NO, IT'S NOT A BUG EXPLOIT).

I have a question. When putting in additional points into your stats...
Do you get a stat reset when you class change at level 10?

Sintei
01-02-2009, 07:52 PM
no, no stat reset.. thats why it is important to get your build going as soon as possible

kazuya-str

Okay. Then I'll just make an additional character. o.0
Thanks for your help. ^^

I'm sure you can buy a stat reset with your sparkcash soon when they have those items in the game.

Hopefully, I'd be willing to go DEX/INTless on my Monk.

You should make it so its easier to read or have like a list of what to do or something. It hurts my eyes just reading it. Its a suggestion though.

You don't have to if you want. You can buy the item required for first class change from another player.

This is a good thread start but, if you clean it up a bit and make it more readable it could be a great thread! Fix a few things here and there and I will sticky this for you.
