I know there will be a lot of threads like this since some users don't bother looking much before postin, so I want to give players a heads-up:

Get Ready for Wind Slayer!
The Wind Slayer Closed Beta Test is almost here! Customize your character and enter a fantasy world filled with magic and wonder. Featuring fast action with simple controls, a robust battle system, and hundreds of quests, Wind Slayer gives you a chance to make new friends and become a hero!
The Wind Slayer Closed Beta Test will begin on Wednesday, January 7th, 2009 at 3:00pm PST and will run until Wednesday, January 14th.
If you want to be one of the first players to experience Wind Slayer, sign up for the Closed Beta Test now! To sign up, log in to your Outspark account (or click here (https://register.outspark.com/) to get a free account if you don't already have one) and click the "Click here to join the CBT" button in the top right of the screen.
Once you're in, click the "Free Download" button to begin downloading the game client and get ready to play Wind Slayer on January 7th!

are u playing it? cuz it says till january 7th and i cant play the game cuz it says is in maintenance or u havent been invited but i am invited so i dont think u can play yet

Summoner Shine you have to get a invited or else it will say.
You can't play because eithers its a closed maintence or you haven't been invited yet.

*sigh* this is NOT ripoff of ms
the only thing this and ms have in common (as far as i can tell) is their both 2d side scrolling games... just like mario... and people dont call ms a ripoff of mario do they?

I've been asked to do them for all OS games, and I will end up doing one for WS Once I get the OK. I might not be able to release the CB version, but we'll see. :)

HOw are You PEOpLE PLAYing AlREADy??/ ??/ ??/ ?? jeesh i havnt even downloaded it but got the invite :P. oh well send me a meesage plz to tell me how it is cause id ont wanna waste time downloading it for nothing
Priest FTW!!!! The only thing i hate about this is that the graphics are gonna suck and its gonna be akward to play after playing Fiesta, ProPow, and Blackshot for a year :P. I think the whole idea of this was Coolio but the graphics shouldve been 3d and this wouldve been a greater hit than the rest of the games xD. Cant wai till it starts.

Well vampkid, I'm sure the developers had in mind that they wanted a game where it was easy to understand, easy to play, controls are simple but yet it would be fun to everyone. That's why there are PVP systems and guilds and things of that nature. The graphics are really good for a 2D game. 3D games would require people to have a more up to date computer and some people in the world right now still have like computers that are dated back to like 1990. None of us are playing as we speak because the cbt comes out January 7th. We can still download the client and get prepared for it but we can't play it. If your not downloading and playing, I'll send you a message to tell you what your missing out on and how it is.
