siggy picture

can some one please tell me how to add a picture on ur signiture im having trouble.....:mad:

in order to add a picture to your siggy you need to have it on the internet somewhere, which means you probably need to put whatever picture you want to use on a photo hosting site, like photobucket or something.
on there somewhere you'll be able to get the direct link to you your photo, it should be a web address something like http://i359.photobucket.com/albums/oo34/CrystalEyes89/chickencrop.jpg (my siggy photo's url) basically just like your common website, but usually ending in .jpg or some other photo file extention (like btmp etc.)

once you have this nifty url go to your edit siggy thingamajig (yes that's the technical name) one of the tool buttons above where you enter your text you should see a little box that's yellow and looks like it might have 2 mountains in it... almost like it was meant to be a picture? (ironic no?) click it, and a window will pop up asking for your photo's url, so ... enter it.

This nifty tool puts the proper code around your photo's url so that it shows up as an image
it really helps to know a little about html writing for this kinda thing, but the nifty buttons do a good job if you've never played with html before :3

oh, and to use the other tools (like say you wanted to make your text in the center) highlight what you want included before you click on the button, or click on it first before you start to type. something that's bold will be surrounded by a <B>text here</B> or something that's centered would look like <CENTER>pretty centerized text here</CENTER>
only each "<" and ">" would actually be a "[" and "]" for this editor, but i can't type those because it just actually makes the text bold and centered and you wouldn't see them :X

If you like to have your own picture with your own character, you have to host your picture on imageshack.us or somewhere else (photobucket fpr example). Other pictures you can add, if you click on image
(there is a little picture there)and between the you have to add the link of your picture... (for example: your link)
