Are Priests Needed?

Well i played the other version but only to level 10.

I cant say i really got hit much, very rarely i got a hit when more then one would be after me and would drop on my head.

So im wondering, are priests needed in parties and stuff? Like most games people will always welcome healers, is it like that in Windslayer?

I guess monsters hit a higher % of your health in higher levels though i wouldnt know.

Priests are needed, I would say. In PvP, they can increase the survivability rate of their team, plus helping mages and archers cover the ranged DPS area... I'd say they're a good all-around class.

i would say priests are welcome but not needed... and their heal kinda sucks (only goes in a straight line...).
so in my opinion priests arent needed

priests are an extra help in pvp but they arent necessary for parties, though you should stick with them because they can be good by themselves, they dont have to be a support class

If your FULL support you go Bishop.

Sorry but you are wrong, Dark Priests DO need SPR, bishops can have 0 spr, Healinphenom started adding spr at +40 lvl and ed_deline added like all spr and he was number 1 on ranks :P

Well I never said that Dark priest don't need SPR.

I just really think you don't need alot..I do talk to other 50s on the korean server.

I guess the idea behind a dark priest having spr is that for return damage skill right? That leaves you quite useless until level 33(or whatever level it is) though.

Well the point of return system isnt to try and get hit.

Its incase you get hit they will get damaged.

You never know, someone might find a way to utilise it, such as going full spr.

A full SPR Priest, phew. With hopefully enough MP to hold them down, they'd literally be impossible to kill if they spammed heal.

Doesn't INT determine the effect of heal though? If they have 2000hp but they can only heal once every 2 seconds for 50hp its not that useful?
