Mage is somehow broken

I m not gonna shout at people who think that their mage is just doing fine.
For those who think mages r good right now, u probably havent passed lv30 yet

I at Lv41 right now , and I have to say , mage is broken.
This is a fact u would see by checking out how many high lvl mages are there compared to other classes . Even archers outnumbers mages.

Little example here.

lv 40 full Str warrior training at Vine tomb needs to rest every 4-5 mobs (No potion) and they rarely dies
Full end warrior training at Vinte tomb needs to rest every 8-10 mobs ,but
kills a lot slower.

Lv40 clerics ........ Really this is a bugged class , no matter how they add their stats they beat every other class in soloing,pvp and others...

Lv40 Archers, Full dex , Full Str always run out of mana rather than Hp before resting , dies less rarely than Warriors

Lv40 Mages , Full spr , U rest because of low hp every 1-2 mobs , even u r using the highest ranked magic u get in combos
Full int , U do a little better than full spr right now, but still u get hit quite often .


Now maybe thats not clear enough
A more realistic example

Me at 36 does 90-100 dmg on harkan every 1.3 second
A friend cleric does 80-90 dmg on Harkan every 1.2 sec?(cant remember hammer speed)

U may say that i have high damage skills. But pls let me tell u
Fireball who is the highest dmg spell we got have the same additional dmg of Bash, Slice and dice at equivalent lvl. And its cool down is 15s.

Bash ? 6 , Slice and Dice ? 6 also

The mobs simply have higher Mdef then def ,(some mobs even Mdef=2*Def)
My highest Mdmg is 700ish now , and i hit yellow mobs 170ish.

The only thing mage is good at is AOE.

Other than that mage is broken . Period.


For all those Asking to add Int or Spr people , My suggestion would be add Int first . Spr will only really have affect after lv 55-60.

So for the first 30-35points i strongly recommend u add Int.

I wont do the math for why this is so, if and only if enough people ask me to do so . But meanwhile for all those who r starting to play mages. Add Int!!!

I have never played a Mage and this is first time I have, I am usually tank, but didnt like it in this game. If it is broke class currently and I still enjoy it, yay to me, will be happier once it is "unbroke"

I'm lvl 19 mage and i already figured that out so far that i can hit like 120s on higher lvl monsters, yet i see others dealing nearly the same. So i'll wait a while and see what happens to the classes before i lvl my mage again.

I completely agree with that last part, that's what I think I will do, I will build up my Mage until by going Pure Int then once I hit the lvl 40's Im going to start adding SPR because before that SPR does not really help kill monsters quickly

maybe you didn't upgrade your gear?
i find that helps alot.

all my gear is +5 or higher and if you say "gear is expensive, I don't want to break it" then do what i do make KQ farmer alts. get all those Blessed stones and use them! Sell any extra gear you dont need and save the ones you do for your alts, simple really.

you can participate up to 3 KQ every 2 hours and thats alot of elrue,lix, ect.

and your barely doing 100+ more dmg than me and your over ten lvls higher than i am :x

does our dmg really not increase that much in the end?

i was hoping for 1k+ by the time i was 50 T.T

ok heres what i have to say to you

Mages FAR out damage archers you have a slow skill that slows the enemy down meaning more damage before you get hit we get entangle at 50!
omg how the hell will that help the 1-49 population wich is the vast majority I mean serriosly we have lower damage our main stat is DEX? increase Aim hmm wow that helps alot though i always hit i can't kill things my lvl without scrolls and using healing potions almost every fight during the fight

My gear is totally fine, at ur lvl I have 35 int on my equips thats excluding my +3 King marlone staff with 11 int and 2rings with 7 int.

Yes right now u can still do fine , i dont doubt it cause i can spam lv1 missiles and hit 200ish at baby bats at ur lvl. But pls keep this in mind that most mages doesnt have what i have at the same lvl.

No offence btw, I am a stone maker with 1000+ on my stone making , U really think that i dont have money to upgrade my gears?

No matter how u upgrade, at lv 30 spiders will hit u 100+ dmg and u have to take at least 1-2 hit before killing them . U onlyget 600ish hp then . meaning after every 3mob u have to rest or risk dying.

Any1 who wanna give suggestions to people handout ur own info. cause other wise u r misleading others.

Pls , i have tried a FRIKIN Archer, If u r not lvling good ,probably just u got wrong stats. Give u a real life example . Chinese srv only openned 2 weeks. I my self have a archer that is lv30 soloing only. And u know what the highest lvl player is? An 43 archeer!! He lvled totaally soloing without a cleric!!!

How do i manage to get my archer to lv30 and mage from 30-41 in 1 week?
simply put STR is the way for archers, its only worhy to invest spr with 25% crit outfit after lv50. Pls archers do even better soloing at lv 60+ than clerics
