So i was browsing through.. and i dont think i saw a Pk thread for Epith.. hmmmm, sooo... Who here is a Pk'er and proud of it? Maybe even start a guild? Lets get together in game and think of a guild name... We need different lvls of characters for each abyss.. whos with me?

Yes indeed.. the main abyss im going for is lvl 20.. I have a fighter im working on right now for Pvp only.. once hes lvl 36 im going to stop lvling him.. i will need a cleric the same lvl. This guild will be in different Abyss areas.. but the main focus is on the lvl 20 abyss. So if anyone is willing to make a new pvp only character for this abyss, well PM me.. i want at least 4 admins for this guild.. i will make sure you are not a spy.

I already know that if this does go through the way i plan.. there will be an Anti Group looking for us.. That is why we set to Non war. No because were afraid.. but mainly because of larger guild with more high levels.. This guild is focused in PVP not war, Just to clear one thing.. So if there is a guild that wants to war us they will have to come to Abyss.. that way it is made sure there at least equal level to us if they do Retaliate.. This guild is going to need much thought before its started though.. this is why i request 4 admins to help... i can even make a website for this Clan once things get going.

lol... I donno about u but I never go into abyss just to PK some players unless a guildie asking for when because someone killing him/her. but I do go to PVP KQ a lot when I can, and I like it there. I been at lvl 6x for about 2 weeks cause I need to wait for somebody, during that time I never once enter abyss but goes PVP KQ a lot. >.> If u like to kill peeps in FBZ or w.e... upto u, if u goes into abyss just for kill lowbies... well I say it's uncall for. but hey, that's my opinion, maybe SOME people just LOVE to kill lowbies cause they can't kill people at their lvls. You forget the difference between a PK'er and a PKK'er is that a PK'er attacks random, innocent, helpless, and usually lower lvl ppl w/o caring that they are ruining their gameplay experience, while a PKK'er kills to stop that kind of harassment.

LOL I totally agree with you, Im more of a pker's pker if that made any sense at all.
Sometimes I think that people take killpoints maybe just a little too seriously, and I've noticed and had this happen to me before. It's making the ability to grind in the abysses very difficult, especially for lower lvl players.

BIG OBSERVATION

People pking in the 5x abyss = all 60-66 and so on with the other abysses.

It's not such a problem in the 6x or 7x abyss

Anyways, back to topic. If you think the idea of a pking guild is right for you, have at it. This just means more pkers for me to pk :D

When you're living in the the abyss just to pk those who are trying to lvl, they're going to someday come in there and kill you because they spent their time wisely trying to level instead of trying to prevent everyone else from leveling. ^^ just a few words of wisdom. When you're living in the the abyss just to pk those who are trying to lvl, they're going to someday come in there and kill you because they spent their time wisely trying to level instead of trying to prevent everyone else from leveling. ^^ just a few words of wisdom. Think about it, the time spent in there pointlessly trying to ruin people's days you could get that 80-85.

LOL to Buster's comment. Yeah I feel their pain... I went in their when I was just bored one day and wanted to level my archer who happens to be just level 20... Ended up that I could barely make it past the first main room where the gate keeper is because everytime that my idle state went away I was dead. I had to just give up because I think if possible my exp would have went down so far that it would be level 1 again LOL.


and to Godess's comment ~ yeah the 70 abyss really isn't that good for leveling, mainly used for making money. TR is wonderful, I just got through grinding my demonic levels of 74-76 out and finally get to take a breather and do the lizard repeat.

So Numot good luck with that whole grand master scheme of yours. Players don't have to charm to be godly, you have the ability to buy very godly gears that are +9 WHEN LUCKY, and I've killed charmed players the same level as me without using charms myself.

Let me explain something here. I don't hate someone just because they are a PK'er in some MMORPG. I don't agree with their playing style and I will certainly kill them in game through overwhelming force. However, even if they harass other players with their PK'ing, I will just dislike them as a person, but I won't hate them. They are a bully, not a serial killer. When a player dies in this game, the person sitting behind the screen doesn't keel over. This still is a game.

However, just because this is a game, it doesn't mean that the way a person interacts with others is not still important. This is what I focus on when I decide whether I like someone or not in game. They are purposely forcing other real people to have to spend more time and effort grinding due to EXP loss, possibly ruining that person's day, and are being a detriment to a stranger without second-thought. I don't really like this sort of blind enjoyment. The sort of people who usually enjoy doing this to other people are purposely doing it to frustrate other real people. To think that many PK'ers actually work really hard to build a level 36 character (or 46, or 56, or whatever), just to do this to as many people as they possibly can.. well.. it certainly doesn't make sense to me, because I've always found it much more fulfilling to help other people rather then step on their toes.

However! I can see how being mildly irritating can create a lot of fun.

Let me explain: I will oftentimes go into the pvp area and try to have duels, but people are just sitting there talking. So I sit there and wait. After a while, they get bored. Which I think would be the obvious effect of doing nothing in the battlegrounds area. I think this sort of thing defeats the purpose of the battlegrounds, so I go around and attacking anyone and everyone, whether they are higher level or lower level. Then I get giant mobs of lvl5x and 6x players chasing after me, sometimes a few 7x and 8x players who laugh at my insanity. I get massacred as I take out 4 or 5 5x players, maybe a few 6x players too. Then I challenge a few groups of lower level players to duels, sometimes I kill them all, sometimes they kill me. We laugh and have fun, then after we got our battle lust out, I sit and talk to them.

I would not and could not ever do this in abyss with the same result though, because this would cause a LOT of exp loss, scroll loss, plus the people are there are there to grind. In the battleground if someone is interrupted with a few deaths, it's not like they are losing time and money, they would've been there doing nothing anyways. If a person trying to grind gets interrupted, it's pretty irritating. Sometimes it's very hard just to get a spot in abyss, much less suffer all the other effects of being PK'ed.

The only legitimate PK'ing in abyss that I don't think is very harmful is where someone will join their own level abyss with the intent of fighting people their own level. Even then though, they do not kill any other player more than once. AND even then, the only reason why I wouldn't severely dislike this sort of player is because many times in the battlegrounds areas, higher level people make the area very unpleasant for everyone lower level than them by spam killing players who don't stand a chance, which eventually drives the lower level players out without ever being able to duel someone around their own level, which is what they went there for to begin with. I don't attack other players in the same level abyss as me though because I don't want to cost anyone their scrolls or even the EXP loss of one death. I don't place my enjoyment before the enjoyment of others. Since I'm higher level, I can usually have fun in the battlegrounds areas without stepping on too many toes. When I was lower level, before the EXP loss in abyss, I still didn't attack people though because I didn't want to interrupt their grinding or cause them to lose scrolls. It wasn't worth my enjoyment to disrupt them like that.

I know right! I have yet to see a PK'er in any level abyss that would stand and fight if an equal or greater force came to battle them!

Once when I went to 6x abyss to power level a friend, I had an interesting experience. Three pk'ers tried to triple team me (but failed to kill me). I was able to escape after several stuns. One of the PK'ers was level 7x, the other two were mid 60's. I left to FP, then came down with a 7x cleric and tried to 2v3 them, they ran off. It was 3 axe fighters vs a mage and cleric. If they were actually good players, they should've saw that they still had the upper hand and should've won if they played with skill. It shouldn't have been hard for them to keep two players stunned. I know that they would've lost the fight miserably though because they fought like noobs. The numerous PK'ers that I've dealt with were not looking for a challenge or a test of strength for their character. They were just trying to ruin other people's days. They actually enjoy doing this, which is sad, but the fact that they won't accept a challenge is just pathetic.

I'm not going to go find Dakkon's original quote, but he had explained this quite well: Abyss is an "enter at your own risk" field, the same as FBZ. It's nice that you went and found some decent quotes and yes, those would apply to say warring someone for a spot in AEW, but the abyss follows different rules. Essentially we know that the abyss is a PvP field so to enter is to aggree that there is a chance you will get attacked from nowhere, therefore you can't be "harrassing a player" in the abyss by killing them, even repeatedly. Even if you had no clue what the abyss was, after you have been killed once you would know that the abyss is indeed a dangerous place to be and, by continuing to be there, you would be accepting full responsibility for anything that happens to your character down there.

This does not however include dialog. The same rules apply for whatever enters into your chat dialog, if they swear at you or whatever report them this is against ToS. But killing in a PvP map? You know it's for PvP (although the presents of mobs seems to have blinded some people) so avoid it if the risk isn't worth it to you.

Anyways here's my two cents: it is kind of rough to go mass-slaying in the lower level maps, but hey I'm willing to die in real life to defend your right to pursue Life, Liberty, and Happiness. I'm also willing to die defending your right to say whatever you want about anything you so desire. So yeah... (and yes abyys is the better pvp zone because you get KILL POINTS. and no its not a regular habit for me i have less than 200 points lol its just fun. grinding nonstop all the time boring. grab some scrolls go fight a couple people FUN. My statement is not "completely irrelevent" as you put it.
It is accurate.
Fighting other players is fine but killing other players who are running away from you and shouting for you to please stop spam killing them with a single hit is not considered to be fighting.
That is terrorizing and harassing people and if that is your idea of fun then you (and I am speaking in general) have a sick mentality.
Married or not, Father or not it is still degenerate and fundamentally evil behavior.

Personally I am fine with the PvP in the Abyss but it needs to be put back to the way it was before the good people at Outspark decided that situation could be used to create a division in the Fiesta community that could result in them selling more charms and extenders and Blessing of Teva in the cash shop.

PK'ers go to lower level abyss and kill lower level players to rack up kill points.

They don't want people who become angry at them to war them, using higher level characters to kill them, because this would be "unfair."

i know =.= which makes them weak, hiding in non warring guilds =.=, acting all tough behind the comp =.=...

I would be very interested in reviewing the "ground rules" for this should it be enacted. PM them to me if you wouldn't mind. As long as there are no TOS vios or any other rules being broken, fine.

And yes, if you wish to create a PKing guild, have the respect to create a warring guild. If not, that is merely an act of bullying, IMHO.

Thank you so much for reading this thread, when ever i'm online, in a scale of 1 ~ 10, 3 times i get complaints from my guild members/ friends (when i was still in a big friendly guild) that people are pk'ing them in abyss , and warring them is not the answer, but err, i still war them >.> (making sure they will leave my guildies/ friends alone =.=.)

Yes indeed.. the main abyss im going for is lvl 20.. I have a fighter im working on right now for Pvp only.. once hes lvl 36 im going to stop lvling him.. i will need a cleric the same lvl. This guild will be in different Abyss areas.. but the main focus is on the lvl 20 abyss. So if anyone is willing to make a new pvp only character for this abyss, well PM me.. i want at least 4 admins for this guild.. i will make sure you are not a spy.

well i say just keep ur distances away from warring guild because majority of low lvlers can have main char also but other then that i glad we got ppl who suport abbys protection and wish yah best of luck i would help but iam very busy guy

You don't have any respect by killing low levels like PKers do.
You may just as well accept that.
When you get to level 67 you will have to quit what you do or you will be humiliated and killed on a regular basis any time you enter a PvP area.
PKers are regarded as degenerate sick minded people in Uruga.
Don't believe it? Just go to the abyss in Uruga and try it.
See how long you stay alive.
