Fighter Build

Hi, I'm new and I just made a Fighter the other day. After some research, I decided I want him to be a tank. From what I have seen it is an effective build to pump END until around level 40 and then put some points in SPR, is that right? Also, I was wondering what skills I should focus on for him.
