Yes unfortunately there are a few scammers out there and outspark does do something about it. But I'm afraid, just like crimes in real life, you can only "punish" a person after they do something wrong, in this case after they scam. There is not other way of knowing if someone is a scammer or not before hand unfortunately

Well, that's why it's best to stay on your guard even though it's the internet. Think things through. If someone says "I just want to see how your green +9 armor and weapon look on me," then hopefully you say something like no. And as for the site spammers... block them.

Just be cautious... that's all we, as the players, can do at the moment.

I think while OS should be doing everything to prevent scamming it's up to each person to find out the various techniques used by the scammers and in the end make sure they aren't being scammed.

Its pretty easy to spot scammers and items stealers once you know their tatics and appearence. Like the post before mine if somone ask you if they can see your equipment to see what it looks like on them. Clearly that person is an item stealer, if you give it to them they will do more than just look at it, they will keep it. Plus people offering to enhance your weapons for you or make you an item you wanted out of production skills. Spammer bots are really easy to spot because their names are alway made up of random letters, are lvl 1 characters and can type faster than normal. Most importantly Outspark staff would never ask for your account information. Even if there ever came a time they would need that information, they don't need to ask you for this information since they can obtain it thier own.

No matter who you are someone will attempt to scam you at some point. It happens to me all the time. Just as long you know a scammer when you see one, there will be no problems.
