i slove this problem :D

download and instal aplication: OutsparkLauncherSetup.1.0.0

then you must lunch regedit.exe and go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Aragon Networks\FiestaOnline

and change the Path of instalation to other for egzample:

D:\games\Fiesta\Outspark

(after this you must download the game adn again check the directory in reginstery)

in my cpu it's working correctly, and game was instaled on disc D ;]

PS. sry for poor english :P

editing the installdirectory didnt work for me, when i click on install it automaticly changes the path back to c... and starts downloading the game.

Also, a related comment: I freed some space on my C:\ drive, deleted the Fiesta files and then told the launcher to install again. The game data file was still in my Temp folder, but the launcher deleted it and redownloaded it; if possible it'd probably be better if it could check for the downloaded file's existence before doing this.

Best of luck with the beta!

ya i freed some space on my c, deleted all of the torrent and game launcher files, got everything off

then whenever i re download it it doesnt re torrent the files, if that problem could be fixed it would all work

hmmm, i deleted the launcher files and re-dl'ed it but it is still the same problem.

i got enough free space on C to install it but after that i got like 2MB left on C.

cant they patch the launcher to make us choose where to install it?

hi,

i can't find
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Aragon Networks\FiestaOnline in my registry.

Is this part changed in the launcher?

Or must I install the game into C the first time to get this registry key?

I still can't get the game to work.** I don't know why I have installed DirectX again and redistributed files around my hard drive, but still can't get the game to start beyond the log in.* As soon as I log in it disappears and the game doesn't start.* What else could be wrong?*

Hi all,

We're working adding this functionality to the Outspark Launcher. In the near future, you will be able to install the program in different locations.

I will post more information as soon as it becomes available.

Thank you for your patience while we resolve this issue.

*i think a better solution would be to just download a game installation file instead of a downloader, incase we have to reinstall saves people from having to download it again and the path problem would be solved as well since most installer would come with a path selection

I found a bit of a workaround for this problem since I can not stand things installing on my OS drive, and wanted it on my game drive.

First I went to "Q:\Program Files\Outspark\OutsparkLauncher\rb\OutsparkGlobals .rb" This just happends to be the location I installed the launcher, so just go to where you installed the launcher, the rb folder and look for the file OutsparkGlobals.rb. Make a backup of the file incase you make a mistake. Then open the original file in notepad. Look for def get_appdata_path(). Under it will say appdata = "". Between the quotes add the path you would like to install to.

Mine looks like this appdata = "q:/Outspark" But use whatever path you would like to use. Make sure the drive you are putting it has at least 1.75gigs free, I would still say at least 2gigs to be safe though.

Make sure the quotes are still there and you use a / not a \. Such as "d:/Games/Outspark"

Now under the line that was just changed, there are a few lines that now need to be removed to make this new path work. Remove everything under the line we just changed until you get to the line appdata.gsub!("\\", "/"), leave that line and then save.

You are still going to need about 600megs free for the download file since it wants to put that in a temp dir on same drive your OS is installed. There is another workaround I did for this, but it gets to involved and it should be easy enough to make 600megs free for just the install file, rather then over 2gigs for the install and then game.

Open the launcher, and it should start Downloading the game. After the Download is done it will now install to the new path. Everything worked for me doing this, and playing the game on my games drive where it belongs ;)

If still running into problems getting it to where you want it installed, let me know I'll try to help the best I can. Hopefully this is just a very temp fix and they get a new launcher out that will solve this problem.

if u get the error while download the exe file through the website
with IE or Firefox is because doesnt matter where u save the file, it
will automatic first saved into temp folder in C drive before it
will move and saved on the location u select

try to use download manager like flashget, it might solve this problem

and here is the link to direct download the launcher file

http://www.outspark.com/_tools/download.php?uid=33224

just copy and paste it to the download manager url location

if u want to INSTALL the game to another location, just type the location u want such as D:\ or E:\games\ , etc....

ehh, im very confused,im so dumb at stuff like that.Plus my comp is practiclly pulled from the dumps of "all hopeless computer garbage" I just wish they could cut down the download time some how,it's god awful long and makes me not even want to mess with the game :(

What I did is downloaded it onto C-Drive, but then I actually INSTALLED the game onto my D-Drive. So no worries afterwards.:)
