I am not trying to tell you that you can't do it or that it is against the rules.

I just want to tell you about the possible consequences of going around abyss purging people for fun. I'm not talking about during fights. I'm talking about purging and running for fun.

1) They won't like you (clerics wouldn't buff you anymore)
2) If they have a main they will make life hard for you
3) Why not kill them instead and have more fun?

Go ahead and do it if you like, but remember the likely consequences of such actions.

1) As long as you aren't trying to win the Fiesta Popularity Contest you are fine. You'll still make friends assuming your personality is good. Clerics are everywhere, you'll always be able to find a buff. Maybe some righteous Cleric who gathers all the gossip on Purgers won't, but the one next to him will.

2) If you have a main, you can shove it right back in their face. That or who cares; ignore 'em.

3) Why not wait till they have a giant mob, Chain Cast > Buff Steal > Buff Steal > Purge, and then run away laughing. Or Stiffles. Random Fear is always fun as well!

Everything you do will have a consequence. If you kill them, do you really think that makes it better? Instead of losing a single buff to Purge, they could lose 10+ buffs!

Also, this is why I suggest people don't NPC those wonderful Anti- potions. They make EXCELLENT buff protectors because buffs are removed from first to last. Pop your 3 anti-pots and THEN work on least important to most important buffs. Protects you for a good long while. Purge is like 2min Cool-Down after-all.

Get that Speed scroll on and crush 'em.

ROFL I think it's the funniest thing when squishies take my buffs... my reaction: simply catch and pwn. If they kill me in the process, well so be it- that's a risk I accepted when I entered the abyss. If they take my T3 or T4 scrolls... again that's a risk I accepted by entering the abyss.

i don't think that this consequences will happen i went to abyss 3 days and kill anyone who stay in my way to lvl and every day there was others players so lol if u kill 1 guy 1 time it's not that bad

Well a cleric's heal is beneficial. Purging is just to cause a player annoyance and interrupt gameplay.

Purging is an ability to give an advantage in a pvp battle. Mages might as well use it. Although purging just for the fun of it will more than likely get them killed and will lose exp. simple.

I would give mages purge, they kinda need it considering a they have a large cooldown and if they puge a BK user there open for attack the next moment.

I think its kinda fair, but its sooo annoying to waste money like that

As a Mage, I love to Mana Burn.
You say this was meant for Mages? True... We do have a lot of skills for PvP that annoy people.a) PvP skills were made for PvP Areas, however annoying they may be
b) I don't see why you're trying to make people 'think out it' ><; I just dun get it. PvP is a killing area... So a player kills a player... Erm... So what? :confused:
c) ~_~ When I play my Archer in the 2x Abyss, I'm glad that some random lvl 31+ Mage has Mana Burned me instead of keeled me. I lose one Sp stone, which ish like... I dunno, 9c? (Yesh my estimate can be COMPLETELY off) Better losing 9c than 400 exp. :d xD
