+9 armor is cool for mages because it makes it so we can take a few hits, that's the reason I got into the scroll business, but I think the first +9 armor I will buy will be the lvl 58 pants and then lvl 60 shirt.

I dont really thnik being +9:ed is nubby . It just makes it easier to grind and all :P. Its like playing a game with walkthrough somehow xD(when you play with walkthrough you get the better stuff earlier and just walk through the game)
But its up to somene if they want to spend real money or not to get +9:Ed. Not nuby

+9's are beastly. I don't care if it's a +9'ed +28int axe, it's awesome to me that someone would do that. \o/ yay for wasting fake money, and sometimes real money.

for me i have my +9 green cutlass and +9 shield (lvl40) (enhanced myself) but i would die to have +9 armor but in the end its going to be like hell to sell all of it. but overall i think its beastly. =)

+9 armor is the best. it allows you to take bigger mobs, take less damage, and over all, do more things. There r always going to be people who say that you are a noob who can't take a hit, but my idea is that they are just jealous. I always keep some extra equips in my inventory tho (+0), just in case someone wants to fight me without the +9's.
+9 is good for all classes; it allows fighters to do many things, it allows archers to get bigger mobs without the huge threat of big damage, it allows clerics to heal other party members without the instant need to heal themseves, and it allows mages to not die in 3 hits (no offense mages XD)

I would say beastly. Having a full +9 armor set is an accomplishment. You will obviously be better then the average player at grinding and tanking. I am proud to have +9 all my gears.

Kudos to you for getting your gears to +9.

O.O i love +ing all my armor but i can only get my stuff to +6 and end up wasting mountains of money doing so.i recommend just buying a +9 its easier -.- as for sword and shield i always buy em since they more expesive

rofl there was a fighter on Apoline server who would always be buying INT fighter gears, then enhancing them.

Its often because there didnt used to be greens, and they are old +9 items.

+9 gear doesnt make the game easier, it gives more opportunities. For example a mage with no +9s cant solo aoe more than a few of mobs the same level and would probably find it hard to aoe even two tr mobs. But with +9s you can take more mobs, but it doesnt mean that doesnt require skill too, its just doing something more impressive.

:p I have a +9 Mage shirt with +23 STR. Well it is my drop and I cannot find a single person can sell me a shirt I shop and yell in Elderine for days so either enhance it or white. Big decision but well..... It is free. :o

My fighter got some nice INT gear too XD Just I tend to use free drops for enhancement.

the people who say +9's r nooby r usually the ones who went for days looking for a good set of =9's, couldn't find them, couldn't use SC to enhance themselves, and built a grudge on the fact that people who had them were able to do more.
If you call +9 armor nooby or cheating, you might as well say crit suits, mounts, and all the other SC items are cheating too.

Nah lol its not nooby, just that people really are jealous that they can't get some. Appearently getting like 2g for a +9 is ridiculous...lol I think thats actually pretty cheap especially when yo find lvl 60 stuff for that price.

But, there are some people that seriously overprice +9s.
And with everything else being uber expensive as well, I can understand why some would complain ~.~

The +9s shouldnt get the compliment "beastly" though >.>
Save that for the +10s...they look awesome :x

I have a +9 shirt and shield and am looking for hat, pants and boots at +9 too. I have a 25SPR/Rest STR build and find +9 armour useful for making up for the lost def from not putting END into my stats. Not nooby and not beastly, more tactical. It makes questing, soloing and partying all a lot easier when I have to heal myself less. I suck at PvP but can last long enough to maybe sneak a lucky win 1v1 now that I have +9 stuff but the "best" PvP players (or at least those who are always claiming to be among the best at PvP and can be found in Eldy shouting about it at every opportunity) all have +9 stuff too so idc :p

People who claim that +9 armor is for noobs are those who cannot afford it and blame +9 armor for them losing in a fight or feeling like a weaker player. Bro if you can afford +9 armor (or if u enhanced urself) more power to ya. It makes your character much much stronger. So dont listen to those who tell you that you are a noob for using it. 75% of the players 80+ have atleast 1 piece of +9 armor, and 75~80% of fighters lvl 30+ have a +9 shield.

I myself have no +9's whatsoever (except the +9 blue kq axe my friend forced me to borrow), but other than that nothing and i feel grinding in the 7x isn't scary at all o.O.
