Well, I thought this game would be fun.
Why?
Sounded like a lot of PVP, and a lot of classes to do it with.
Sure, I kinda like the PVP and whatnot, buuuut...
The rest of the game is pretty crap.
No, I'm not saying it's crap because it's Closed Beta.
I just don't like the systems...
Things I do like:
PVP [PVP Anywhere, at that.]
Number of Classes
Channels [Although only 2 Channels for now.]
Things I don't like:
If something's blinking, you can't hit it. [Makes Attack Speeds pointless, and also makes the game frustrating.]
Monsters can hit you repeatedly, but again, you can only hit the monster if it's not blinking.
Monsters can interrupt your attacking.
Quests tell you what you need to obtain, but now how to obtain them or where to obtain them. [Might be changed over time, though I haven't seen Outspark fix this kind of stuff before.]
Experience from grinding is horrible. [Even worse in a party.]
Only way to gain good experience is Quests, and you'll eventually run out.
Parties don't share Quest Kills, and I couldn't find a way to share loot besides picking it up and dropping it. [Last few points effectively destroys the point of parties.]
Horrible curse filter ["Hello" can't be said, even thought it's Hotkeyed to F1. Can't say Wood Piece because of "DP", etc.]
Bad Graphics [I understand it's a 2D Game, but other 2D games were at least able to keep up with cute/good graphics. This game is like they tried to be cute and messed up somewhere.]
ENGRISH [The announcements in-game are constantly bad English, and I even saw a GM of some sort come to tell a player that cursing was bannable, and said GM/Whatever did a horrible job speaking English while he/she did so.]
Some of the reasons are related to Outspark, some are related to just the game.
At any rate, I would have more fun playing MapleStory, than this.
And I don't really like MapleStory.
I'll probably get my character to lvl 10, see how the game is when you're NOT a Novice, and then quit because it won't be much different, and go back to LaTale.
