PVP is a Free-For-All Zone, i used to be a PKK'er but how is it fair to the PK'ers, there just playing the game in the way they want too.

And there are way to many threads saying "PvP Should not be in abyss"

Hmm, so these people are basically saying, let me level as fast as i can and get plvl's and more w/o consequences o.o

PvP gives people NOT a free ride, when i was a lower level there were no abyss's we had to actually GRIND *outside of abyss* or QUEST, it isnt right that people expect an area with amazing xp,decent drops, and relativley weak monsters to be a no PvP zone

I agree with you, but it's probably not going to stop anyway. People will always find something about Abyss to complain over, and PVP is the biggest thing.

Mostly i agree with you but the problem is someone completely SCed up and 10 lvls + will go in just to kill people and you stand no chance of beating them. When they reinstate the 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59etc lvl limits they can keep the exp loss i don;t care about that i just care when i stand no chance of defending myself.
And yes i have been around before the abyss's my cleric actually hit 47 BEFORE abyss (its was kinda funny my guild had just helped me hit 47 and i logged on the next day and i found abyss and i was like wth you soab >< you should a put this in a week earlier)

I think people should stop complaining about those who complain about complainers, it seriously takes up space in the forums and is utterly unnecessary :D...

The other thought I had was: Yup... if I'm Outspark I would be havin such a hard one right now lmao... think about it, the complaint is from non-paying players against OS's favorite clientelle. Those who dislike the system have only three options: don't go into abyss:cool:, load up on SC like the winners do:D, or quit altogether :mad:.

Option number one works great if you're like me and just have fun with the game *emphasis added: it's a freakin game people be entertained or go home*, but really you have no say in policy.

Option number two is, intriguingly, what many have turned to; in order to conquer the SC "abusers,*" the PKK army has turned to using CS for itself. Thus they have paid fully into the system that ingeniously brought them the unbalanced abysses and have thereby become themselves the root of their imaginary problem.

Option number three is totally up to you, maybe Fiesta isn't a good fit- try Black Shot or Project Powder. Whatever happens you can't post about quitting because OS really doesn't care, they aren't suffering any by losing you; and honestly if you quit over the rules that apply to eight special maps in the game, maybe you need a break from gaming to do some soul searching... what entertains you? I hear Hello Kitty has a MMO out...

Even you have to agree, when your lvl 20 and can berly kill things in abyss its sorta annoying to get pked especially when you lose exp.

I went there with my newb and lost 2 circles
and just got my bro back on fiesta after quiting it for 5 months
and he goes to abyss and dies over and over in abyss trying to get any lvls.

I wasnt even aware of abyss tell around lvl 39 xD was usless considering that lvl 40 abyss sucks but now i am a Pkker and i will kill anyone pking abyss is for lvling not pking,

pking is for pvp and only pvp abyss is not pvp for some reason it is allotted i understand the danger but rilly its sad when a fighter who is just where he can be in abyss but the last lvl and kills lower lvled people,

that is the ultimate noob pking is noobish theres no bonus for you and it hurts the pked person in exp.

I have no real complaint about PvP concept, the problem is the ganging up and constant harassment of some players/ guilds/ groups. 1 vs 1 is one thing, but constantly killing someone you know is way weaker than you- no matter WHERE you are- is just being mean. 1 vs 3-5 other players, also not PvP, is PvPS [players] and you are all harassing that one player. You want to go mano a mano then do that, but dont get your little buddies to gang up on someone- not cool.

In FBZ you can say well I chose to be here to fight. In Abyss, there really are other options. and until they take those away you have to respect that someone may not want to fight you just yet.

I've jsut conducted some reasearch in the level 40 abyss- I killed 10 people and they said,"What did I do!-No Reason for that!-wth is your problem~!," apparently I answered saying the abyss was strictly pvp and apparently out of 8 answered...,"No its not you crazy!" And so for the level 40 abyss 8/10 will think that it was never a pvp.

Its just amazing that many don't know.

I hate to burst your bubble mike but the Abyss isn't strictly PvP. That's FBZ. :) As mentioned in one my earlier posts Abyss 50 and 60 are used for grinding, and abyss 70 and 80 are used for farming (and grinding by lower levels). Those 8 people were right.

Totally subjective to your characters' current status in-game. The only rule for Abyss is "enter at your own risk." What people use the abysses for really doesn't matter in lieu of that, simply farm at your own risk, grind at your own risk, PvP at your own risk et cetera...

And yes, I completely agree with you (I think OS does too or the current abyss rules would be different). The abyss is primarily a PvP map, if it works for other things too (like farming, grinding, et cetera) then that's just a coincidence- the same way that Moonlight Tomb often serves as a great place for guild wars since there is little or no lag, but while the map works for that purpose it's primary use is for PvE.

That area in Abysmal Cave (main room) is like No Mans Land. Only the strongest survive, everyone else is cut down. True story.

Kinda agree with you on that one Geezy - about being subjective and in-game status. Yes, Abyss does mean 'Unknown' and 'Enter at Your Own Risk' however back when I was lving in 50, 60, and 70 abysses (like 4 months ago), they were pretty much used for that purpose only i.e. grinding, and 7x abyss for farming. So yeah - albeit it's subjective, the rule of the day back then was that these places were for aoe / grinding parties; and generally there weren't any pk'ers around. Thoese who did pk - were more often than not - killed instantly. Hence, if you meet any of the people who lvl'd alongside me, you'd find the same mindset.

And going kinda off on a tangent here - there's just an observation I'd like to make. That is - that the higher the players level, the less they tend to pk (unless they're lvling for that purpose alone). Otherwise it's quite rare almost to see any sort of fight / squabble going on in the 7x or even 6x abyss. More often than not it's only the 2x - 5x abysses where pk'ers do the major damage.

I like the way you put it. So for Abyss PvE was an afterthought and the abyss (when compared to FBZ) gives somewhat of a level cap for PvP in order to keep things 'fair'. Makes sense.

touche good sir... touche. While we may never know what the developers' initial intentions for the Abyss actually were, we do know what their current thoughts are; that being primarily for PvP with the notion that for whatever reason, be it personal or whatever, players will load up on Cash Shop goods and engage in combat against their peers. Essentially it doesn't matter what we interpret the abysses to have been designed for, only that now the market has spoken with an overwhelming boom. :cool: <-- should have a "smug" face lol

I'm not even going to bother trying to convince the people who complain to me because I killed them anymore in game, because they don't listen.

It's probably to lure people that don't have the intention of being Pk'd but more of the intention to go in and get out with good exp, all those good intentions cloud the mind making them go in. You see, the FBZ zone is free for every level therefore making pvp much harder for lower than 60 or 70. So, the abyss has level restrictions which alows more fairness for lower levels and as well as a trap...the mobs of good exp and easy to beat, by tricking one to go in with good intentions then thats prey for the pkers.

The loss of exp, for some evil twisted reason a lot of the pkers like the fact that people they kill lose exp which keeps more pkers coming and coming, as that starts to happen pkers fight pkers and prey come with good intentions but get pk'd. Creating the abyss chain.

Just a hypothesis.

but mini-wars are soo much fun!! not to mention being one of OS's favorite in-game phenomena... I don't think they could have intentionally engineered a system as lucrative as the current abyss one...

Gotta admit it - I love mini wars too (friendly ones though) - and yeah I agree that they couldn't have intentionally come up with a system as lucrative as this one...

GM's said kq blues would be removed. They weren't. Nuff said. :)

Good hypothesis. I agree with you on that one. It's just the sick twisted freaks who pk that I oppose. I guess it's like real-life where there are innocent people who mean well for others, and then there's the freaks who society shuns and looks down; just like most fiesta players look down on pk'ers. :)

Not everything they say is false actualy the majority of the things they ssay aren't. If kq blues didn't be removed maybe something just came up and scruded the system. The Gms often say there will be a quiz in ox feild, they do.
