This Post is about the system and if you think the game will have one
Not about asking people if they want to get married in game so people don't start

Who thinks SoS will have a Marriage system? I think it might seeing it has some similar things with Ro what you guys think?

Hm I think most people that use the system are just friends in the game and like to use the skills it comes with. Doubt the majority take that sort of thing into meaning any kind of serious relationship.

Plus it is a role playing game after all, and can't be any more ridiculous than using magical attacks and having fairies for pets. Simply put in for fun, although Im sure real couples and spouses enjoy being able to be together in that sense as well if they're both gamers.

Marraige system would be great. Me and my gf only see each other usually 2 times a week. Lack of rides and stuff. Me and her feel the lack of comunication between us but its whatever now. I think the marraige system would be great for me and my gf and others, there can also be different reasons for why people like/want this system, it could bring love and maybe a serious relationship, but remember watch out for stalkers!!!

Secondly, I'm tired of people saying that oh, it's going to be some old fat guy. Look, that hardly happens. It does happen and it happens a lot. But not that often. If you are really concerned that much about it, just wait a few months. I don't care who you are, you can't pretend to be someone else for that long. By then, your true self breaks through.

Thinking that people are stupid and disgusting because they got married on some game just shows how much you really know. Whether you believe it or not, love knows no boundries. It can be broken and damaged, but cannot be stopped.

There are certain web sites made for this kind of thing. For two people to meet each other online and then possible in person eventually. I actually think it's a good way to do things. It is the only way that can show only the personality of the person and nothing else. You can know the personality of the person, and if you love that person, the looks and speech won't matter. It's who they are that counts.

So if you turned out to fall in love with someone over the internet, and after a good year or so you truely love the person, who cares if it's an old fat guy? It doesn't change anything but his looks.

The rest relies on preference of gender.

You have very little choice over who you love. So don't try to control it with crap like, in-game love/marriage is stupid and only for confused morons.

Ok i had a friend siblings happen before, his little bro when out to "meet' this guy, with his bother behind for security, and ok he wasn't fat but it was like a tall raggy looking guy in his mid 30, and the guy is like "so do you want to be gay cuople?i don't really care..."( this is not funny) and he got turn down and end of story, but i do agree on you about looks doesn't matter only personalities does like hey i look different with my makeup and my dress(when i cross dress)then on than my casual cloths...

Exact opposite actually, very very few do it. It usually has to do with giving people personal reasons to keep playing a game. Part of game theory is how to bring out an emotional attachment to your character, thus anchoring you to their product.

MMORPGs are also social hubs. Guys might be more interested in action, but throw in things like marriage and social aspects, and the target audience reaches more female gamers.
