Well, depending on the situation i can be a an almost non-existent perv, or a super perv. I once humped my friends leg for fun. She told her bf, he looked at me, then started humping her other leg. That's an example of a big perv.

And with guys you get more independance but it also means people are less likely to help you out. D: People don't really look on you as weak, and they hold you in much higher regards then they do to ladies.

thats what is good about being male in rpgs and in real life if your female people dont expect you to be tough and to stuff all by your self sometimes that makes it hard for females to be independant and sucessful.

I make male characters just so that I am not deceitful. There really is no good reason to play a female character when you are male, but I wouldn't hate you for it. Previously stated we have seen why many males play female characters, and I personally don't think any of them are decent.

This is pretty accurate. I'd like to add that I always play male characters because I can relate more to them, since I'm a guy. I also don't bend over backwards for girl-characters... It's just pretty retarded in my opinion. When I first started playing MMORPGs(12years old) I was kind of in that "OH MAN INTERNET GURLZ!" mindset, but as I've matured I realize how they're just like any other character in an MMORPG. Chances are I'm not going to meet them in real life, and a female character can't offer me anything that a male character can't. If you make a good friend, you make a good friend. I don't believe in the long distance thing, so a female character means nothing!

Post-Script:I tend to be an asshat to girls that try to use their CHARACTER's gender to get stuff from me.

Heh, I picked girl. Now, I have nothing against playing as a male character, as I have a male character as well.

The thing is, in some games where the class genders are set, don't you notice that magic users and stealth/speed type classes are usually girls? Diablo II is an example of that. I, for one, love to play as magic users and speed types are cool too. Thus, I tend to end up with girls as my chars, and it sort of carries over to MMORPGS, because I feel if I'm going to change a character to a certain class, they should be a certain gender. A bit sexist, maybe, but there you have it.

And girl character avatars are made to look cuter.:D

And you can call me a perv all you like but if you are not attracted to the opposite gender...Well you can be attracted to the same gender as you, I'm not implying any prejudice there, but you know what I mean.
