Just want to hear your opinion on the best class for PvP STD mode

I understand that all classes are "balanced" in a sense, but what the heck just vote

Maybe it's just me but I get ALL the kills on my mage.

archer's range is incredible and his jump power attack is diagonal so its really well rounded, except the skills are slow

archers are great if used well in massive pvp

mages hit close to 400 so even if they die early they will rack up kills quickly, great for ppl who arnt good but want to kill a lot

monks and rouges if mastered will out beat a mastered mage or archer but in mobs they get killed very quick, so they are only great if its less then 5v5

when everything is standardized... its stupid because they even out your stats. I have yet to play a PvP match while keeping stats... then you can 2hko the archers and mages and all is well.

i know we are talking about monks archers you know all first class people but i think counters would kick but i meen the would counter everything they have a move to bounce long range atacks of it and hit the person at the same time they have a move to counter meelle atacks and there dragon kick is SWEET!!! ^^

most of the players spam so whats the point? so far BEST PvP player is Grimmjow AKA. Daggerjoe on GnG ws. He was best then, and he is the best now. And if u dont believe me go 5 rounds with him and u will see what im talking about.

I 1v1 him about 15 times and won twice, and im a pretty decent rouge, so yeh hes that good.

Well you need to look at it from 3 perspectives.
There are 3 types of PvP

Novice
Standard
Universal

Novice of course is only for novice players so it does not matter what class you are.

Standard is when any player enters the arena and is the exact same level as everybody else. This shows you that when everyone is equal, which is the best class.

Universal is when any level enters and stays that level. That is where level, skill, and experience comes into play.

My opinion is that all classes are good if learned well and used properly. Of course some classes are weak against others. Different classes have their weak and strong points. Over all I think the best class is what you decide it is, I don't think there is a specific class thats better than the other. It all depends on how you play~

well i personally think that warriors are very good but i'm biased so don't listen to me :D
but they do take a considerably large amount of skill and time to master... :D
most people hate them because they are hard to be but, it is lots of times boring to be say a mage (if you know how to use others as meat shileds and blok they are the best class in my books :D (except against rouges)) who can mainly pawn the best player in two combos.. so be a warrior if you want a challenge with the most rounded class in the game :D

I would say rogue is best at PvP only b/c of there stun, invis, and poison attacks all combined and use properly is devastating to any class or player!
But with that said also comes the ability of the player and how good they are with the class they have chosen. I mean like take grimmjow yeah he rocks as his rogue/sin but it would take him some good amount of time to try any other class like priest or mage he would probably not kill alot at first but over time any player can get a good grip on how to use there character to there fullest and best in pvp and/or pve.

In STD any class can do well as long as you know how to play, but I think that the rogue is the best pvp class if played right.

Actually it depends on the amount of people.

In 1v1 i almost always win on my rogue, unless its another good rogue or monk. Every other class is slower so its easier to counter attack them.

But when its 5v5++ rogues have a tough time since they need to get close to their target.And most of the time I get mobbed by people so it becomes difficult to 1v1. So yeh thats my perspective on it^^

Oh that is very true! If you have a rouge on your team that can stun and you use teamwork your team can win just about every time. It would be very wise if you have a mage on your team since they do the most damage at a low level in PvP. Have the rouge stun and then the mage unleash the fire spell or whichever is his strongest for 350+ damage unblocked!

I tried to tell that to my team mate because he was a rouge and stunned but after he stunned he just did 3 quick attacks for 33 damage each for a total of 99...I tried to tell him to just stun and let me attack because my fire spell did 350+ damage everytime but he didn't listen =/

the rouge does all the work then the mage just expects everybody to sit back and let him take all the victy -.-
besides if you are any good as a mage you be able to do ice fire/combo... which does closer to 600 dmg. and be able to do it as a combo as soon as rouge finishes poison -.-

That is very true, when im on a team that takes my stun, i wait for the mage to spam an attack then just time it and hit him with poison anyways. So if you were a good rogue, you can use spamming mages to your advantage.

And also, the two best combos in this game is 2 good rogues that take turns stunning/poisoning and 2 good mages who take turns ice/fire combos (even though i have yet to see that because most ruin it by spamming)

archers are [removed] to kill if they do a run and shoot because they shoot so far but

when u have rougues that just do that hide thing then sneek up and stun then they poisin and run are good

but then again allthough priests arnt the most powerful at first if they have the ability to heal they are tough but when they run out of mp they are stuffed

also monks are really powerful they stuff me up when i play as my priest

Naw it's not just you i find we pawn to ^^ especially with the skill that makes there movement go all skitz as they find it hard to get used to it and we can pawn them with our fire kick and double kick

lol i pwn grimmjowbecause I'm able to "see" his invis quite often but he pwn me back. not sure who is better but seems equal. (archer pwn me and i never kill one 1on1+ mage biggest weakness)

what do you mean definately not warrior? -.- they aren't slow at all...
there skill are moderately fast and there jump attack is just as good as the wood, but with more damage. (and i'm not sure but it might have a little extra range too :D)

sniperjoe was a great example of a warrior that was actually good, i faced the guy about 9 times and only managed 2 wins after getting his playing style, but rouges pwn, that is all

I disagree with you guys voting with Rogue; Rogues are only good against disorganized teams. A good team would work together in the fact that they cover each other with a variety of DPSes, if a Rogue is able to penetrate that line of defense... that means a player has isolated themselves, making them an easy target.

Rogues would probaly have more trouble 1vs1, for me anyway, because I would constantly hit around the area and jump around when theyre in stealth.

when i 1v1 in pvp i don't use stealth... -.- only noob rouges use stealth in 1v1. but to georgie i can stil easily infilct great amounts of damage to an organized team. it's not to hard to spam poison and then run :p but rouges are best against isolated team members, but in the heat of battle even a very well organized team can't stop a cloked rouge from poisoning random people

Atm Archer. Maybe at higher levels that will change.

Mages can do heavy damage.
Rogues can stun/poison.
Warriors can.. well... hit stuff:P
Priests heal themselves.
Monks have the ability to hit people fast but lack the long range of an Archer.


All of them are good...But Archers are a step above.

Archers have superfast basic attacks at range..have powerful skills at range..can shoot at an angle at range. Can hit someone not even on their screen at range.
They can literally basic shoot a person into stun lock until dead or badly hurt..solo.

A class that can shoot at range 2-3 times in the same amount of time any other can do 1 attack is the winner.

Honestly, if we're talking about the easiest class to use, Mage and Archer would be the easiest classes to pick up and use in a Novice Battle. They would dominate mass Novice Wars.

In a 1v1, I'd say Rogues and Priests are the MOST annoying to face. Especially Priests... until they run out of MP.

If we're talking about pros vs pros here, I believe Monk and Rogue would still be able to do massive destruction to the opposing team. Mages are only so great if they have a lot of people around them, but in a 1v1, Mages are toast, their attacks are slow, and melee would destroy them in a 1v1.

As for Warriors, they do steady damage, they have a variety of skills, but they don't excel at massive damage, they are just excellent at staying alive the whole round.

Just my opinion.

I gotta say that as an archer i have NO trouble with rogues, except if that rogue is grimmjow, or there are two or more that gang me. Archers' pros and cons;

Pros; long range, fast firing, jump and power attack, ambushing, owning chasing players, very good in a mob and solo if done right.
Cons; low damage compared to other ranged, their skills can be slow, their lvl 18 skill STINKS warriors and monks own them if the players are equal.

Yeah, the stun trap is probably one of the things I detest the most. Gah, it kills me all the time. I am looking forward to the release of the second classes, because I think for sheer muscle, the only thing that can outhit a Shaolin will be a Berzerker. I am so getting a shaolin as soon as possible. Though from PvP, I think my next char will either be an archer or a priest.
