THIS SATURDAY, at 5:30 Central time, We will do a Helga raid.
I want 100+ people in the raid. In full pt's.
Each party should have 2 clerics, one mage, one fighter, and one archer.

Levels:
Clerics: Lv60+
Fighters: Lv60+
Mages: Lv70+
Archers: Lv70+

As most of you know, Apoline has become the first server to defeat helga. I believe Epith could be the second. Epith has alot of very hard headed players who don't work with others, so this raid should mostly be of people willing to work hard, and work together.

Our strategy:
Clerics: Will not attack, at all. Just heal. One cleric in party Revives/Buffs, while other heals.
Fighters: All fighters that can take a hit from helga will attack helga directly, all other fighters will attack his mobs.
Mages: Hit helga.
Archers: Hit his mobs.
* Clerics don't heal when kited
* Stifle/fear/manaburn has no effect on cleric mobs - Stifle Still Not Confirmed..
* Hell Guardians have immense speed / cleric based mobs cannot be kited (regens)
* Mob respawn rate : 2:30 mins
* Average Kallap Warrior damage with 1.5k+ Defense=2.5k dmg
* Average Kallap Mage Dmg with 1.5k M.def=2k ~ 2.5k Dmg
* Hell Guardian Archer Poison Cannot be cured
* Hell Guardian Clerics x2 cannot be defeated together must be separated
* At Least 1.25k Aim + is necessary to not miss in Helga's tomb (Tested on mobs only)
* Hell Guardian Clerics use cure every 5 ~ 7 seconds
* Hell Guardian Cleric + Kallap Cleric Cure every 3 ~ 5 seconds
* Cleric Mobs heal any nearby mobs that are low on HP before they heal themselves
* Helga tanker needs more than 3.5k def to survive...
* Hell Guardian Mages deal 3k ~ 3.5k dmg with 1.5k m.def
* Hell Guardian Archers deal 2k ~ 3k dmg with 2k+ defense
* Helga uses abnormality status Fear, Poison , and Stun.
* Only Hell Guardian Warriors and Clerics can be 'Stucked'
* Helga has 6 Body Guards 3 Hell Guardian Archers and 3 Hell Guardian Mages.
* There are 8 Total Hell Guardians for each class total of 32..Hells...Priority in Killing:

1) Cleric Kallap - Kill Always even if there are more mobs target this one first


2) Hell Guardian Mages / Archers - Take these out next we cannot handle a mess of Hell Guardians for they have Immense speed with that factor they'll rush and wipe us all out take out mages first then archers archers deal less dammage than mages.

3) Mage Kallap - Mages hurt the most in this place so remove this one next

4) Archer Kallap - These have poison no one can cure (Aside from GM) take these out and avoid poison


5) Warrior Kallap: These go next they're no biggie and no problemThe reason behind this is, clerics are known for healing, so they should heal. Fighters have enough health to take him directly. Mages have higher defence than archers, so if they attack helga and pull him, the have a less likely chance of dying. Which leaves archers to attack his spawns.

The white boxes indicate where were pulling helga to. Were going to pull him from the top to that small corner area.

The small blue dots indicate the revving cleric party, and their positions when we've pulled helga to the correct spot.

The Green dots indicate the tank party, when we've pulled helga to the correct spot.

The red box indicates the mob we'll kill before we pull helga.

Purple box indicates a restriced zone. DON'T GO THERE.

The grayish-white dot indicates the gold ore used to pull helga, no one pull it until instructed to do so.

I think, a good strategy would be to get high level people who are married. That way, if a cleric doesn't have enough time to res, they can just summon their partner. (If summon works for that dungeon?)

Also, make a level limit higher for specific classes.

Good luck pulling Epith's Capped and High level players together. Too bad they are good at fighting each other and bickering over nonsense. If they could put that kind of energy into working together. To getting everyone special armour in pvp kq instead of hogging it. Instead of killing lower levels in Free battle zones, Instead of spawn killing people at the entrance to abyss. Then Epith could have led the way months ago because the tallent and ability to do it is there. The willingness to share and play with honor is not. I know this does not speak of everyone and to those I appologize.

Well, i don't suspect that they'll be many 6x's.
But if there are some, they'll be pretty much low DD's. they wont take hits and all. there will be stronger fighters who still can't take hits from helga taking hits from spawns

Would It not be best to have an incredibly tight group while fighting the boss that way any adds that spawn will be Lured to the group making it easier for off tanks to pick them up?

I mean on every Raid I've seen on youtube everyone is spread out way to far from each other >.>


Also If a mage pulls aggro he/she is incredibly WRONG!

As long as there is no knowledge of Helga enraging after "X" amount of time then you should be able to dps slow enough to not pull aggro and fast enough to not run out of stones.

Also I would say no less than 30.


Also if everyone would use a 1hr Def and Attack charm. Then the raid would be that much easier, no reason to slack imo.

But anyway, I wanted to point out a number of things I noticed watching Apoline's threads, the YouTube vid made that documented the raid, and some of Epith's previously failed raids.

1) You're gonna need -several- tanks. According to RikoRain, who was a participant in the first successful Helga raid, they had 5-7 tanks.

There's the link to the thread where I found the post, I just dont know where exactly the post is.

In the past, there was a raid when we had Hero_Fame tanking Helga while the rest of the group was dealing damage. However, Hero ended up getting feared. As soon as that happened, we were done.

2) Clerics.

There almost is -always- a lack of high level clerics in our raids. I know this makes me a hypocrite, but still, keep that in consideration. The higher the level = the more hp per heal. And anybody who tanks is gonna need a hell of a lot of heals.

I'd also recommend grabbing some lower level clerics to be the "medics" for when people die. There will obviously be a lot of deaths, and when tanks are losing 25-40% of their hp per 1-2 seconds, its hard for clerics supporting the tanks to find time for rezing people. (This was suggested by someone for a previous Helga raid, but I can't remember who. My bad if it sounds like I'm stealing it >_<)

(Btw, keeping the DDs alive is almost as important as keeping the tanks alive. Living DDs means quicker killing of mobs. Quicker killing of mobs means tanks aren't overrun.)

3) Failed. Attempts. Are. Frustrating.

I'm proof of this. The more time (and money, for other people) spent on these raids, for fail after fail after fail, just completely demoralizes a person. You say this is going to be an organized raid. I'd hope so, because after the 3rd or 4th time that everyone dies and has to regroup, people start leaving. As soon as tanks or clerics leave, the raid is going to be a complete fail.

4) I know we have tanks that can pull and/or hold Helga still. This doesnt have to be the game plan but when I was watching the YouTube vid I did notice that the Apoline raiders pulled Helga into that camp area behind the gate where everyone comes in. From there, it looks like Helga was just tanked. Thats just extra info for you all in case nobody noticed it.

Theres a little hill behind the waterfall that curves to the left and the ore is closer to him (and he has bigger argo ranges) then the hell guards so if you go even a little past it, it pulls helga. But yeah if you dont want kallaps in your way kill em.

And yes, Kusan, I agree. Lack of unity and clerics are big problems when it comes to Epith's raids. We'll just see what happens tomorrow, I guess.

Parties consist of 5 people, Combind some of the parties with 2-3 people. Just so that you get more parties filled, I bet that there will be more people that show up then signed up on forums.
