I tried finding info on the new database but it didnt come up with much.

Just a few questions

1. What are the penaltys for different offences or is everything just a flat line 280 hour ban?

2. Why are the bots put in there instead of just outright ip banned?

3. Is there any way to appeal a ban/jail sentance other then through a CSR because theres no area to explain your case??


4. Why do you have to be online for the entire 12 days straight for your timer to drop :/ I mean its a touch harsh for some of the offences dont you think ? it could take like a month to do the time.

1) There is no such "ban"

2) IPs are Dynamic

3) Not really but you SHOULD submit a ticket if you've been in there for more than 72 hours.

4) You don't. The timer expired does not release you from Jail.

Sorry if that came through wrong I just meant 12 day period where you cant do anything not permanent ban.

So the timer doesent acually do anything? then its permanent unless you appeal ?? confused :/

If you were banned, you wouldn't be able to log into your account period.

We do not use JAIL anymore for player punishment. If you are in jail, please contact a CSR @ support.outspark.com.

The timer is for chatting/whisper.

you cant speak to anyone outside the jail but listen to silky the jail is not supposed to be used so go to support.outspark.com and click the CSR link and file an appeal

Uhm ok well that helps so now i know that i shouldnt be in there lolz. But hey silky, considering jail isnt supposed to be used anymore can you do me a favor? Is it possible that you can go in jail and tell the people in jail to file an appeal? or send a notice in jails for all servers? Because i really dont want all those people to lose their character's hardwork because most of the people in jail dont belong there. Well, if you can please do so. Thanks ^-^

I always beg the GMs and GLs to jail me. They never do.

Tamlin, i have the same question. I do noy know who is putting people in jail it is VERY irritating though. i Was put in jail by a GM or GL using notice when i was in eldrine.... kinda stupid something should be done. N btw Silky, the CSR says jail is still used or something well at least that what my friends reply said. So could you find out whats right? ask GL Nei? isnt he the highest rank?

Thats a completly different issue and is the companies internal affairs...

as far as Jails purpose they (USED) to use it for player punishment but primarily I believe for bots/spammers/gold traders etc not everyday player infractions.

Somone obviously is using it improperly but maybe they are still under the impression that it is in use since it was at one point.

well apparently they are never being let out been about a week now I wont be buying nothing until she gets out or move on to a new game

The folks in the Epith jail are released.

Jail is still being used for special circumstances so depending on your offense and the situation at hand we may jail your character especially if we want to get your attention and you're not answering your email for example.

In any case this situation is being reviewed internally and any misconduct will be addressed internally (some of it has already been addressed).

Yes it is a bit slow right now since we still have a backlog but it will ease off soon as the response will be faster.
