Here's an idea I got from playing the other Outspark games (namely Windslayer >.>;;)
The PvP system in Windslayer, Blackshot, and Propow involve players creating and joining "rooms" where players can sort teams and options before heading into a timed race/battle/pvp.
Why not add this system to SoS too (in addition to the existing free-for-all PvP system)?
Players could arrange rooms and timed or untimed battles, set up level limitations or even modifiers (i.e. in WS some rooms set all players to level 40 temporarily for even fights). Winning players get wins, losing players get losses, and all players get points for kills (of course the points should eventually be used for something too...). This way players looking for fair fights can go to level limit rooms, time limits can be established to encourage more skillful combat instead of flatout pot spam, and it could basically be like a mini-event. It would also make the Waiting rooms a little less useless >.>;;
