Warrior class change ?

Is it just me, or is it really hard to do the warrior job change quest ?

You need 10 Furry Monkey Tails, 10 Monkey Horns, and 1 Monkey Moustache (and the Adv Class License).

I'm almost at level 11 and I've been doing this quest since I first levelled. I only do 13 damage to Monkey Soldiers (I have to hit them 8x), 10 damage to Monkey Sergeants (I have to hit them 13x) and 9 damage to Monkey Farmers (I have to hit them 15x). I haven't yet attempted the Monkey General but I'm sure I'll be doing single digit damage to those as well. The drop rates for Monkey Horns and Monkey Moustache are pretty dismal, and at the rate I'm going I probably won't get to the Warrior class before the CB ends.

I haven't seen anyone else complain about this yet, so is it just me having this problem ? Is my build (2str : 1dex: 1spr) messed up ? Have I missed some important weapon that will give me uber damage (currently using wooden sword) ? Did everyone else spend oodles of cash to buy the quest items from the market ?

Monkey Moustache can only be gotten from the Monkey Generals, so I guess that makes the Warrior class change more difficult than some of the others because even with the best available gear Generals are pretty tough for a level 10. I had to kill 4-5 Generals for a moustache, so it's not too bad if you can get to them.

Monkey Horns drop pretty reasonably from the Sergeants and Farmers. I would find an area with a lot of Sergeants and just fight them for the horns, they also drop the tails you need.

Your build looks fine. The dex isn't helping you now, but it will later, in PvP at least, although there don't seem to be many monsters yet that use elemental attacks. Wooden sword is the best weapon you can have until you change class and can use warrior weapons.

Yeah ... my friend suggested to me to put all points in STR in the first few levels and then balance it out later ... why didn't I think of that 10 levels ago ??! aarggh ... i guess I'll just slug it out ;p

Yea i was level 12 by the time i got all the bits and changed to warrior!

I had wooden sword too, so just keep up the work and you'll get it done =)

You can buy it from the weapon shop in Ozi Village. It costs 100 gold and 100 WSP (which you earn from PvP).

I'm new to this game and trying to find the monkey horns, i've already gone up one level since lvl 10 and will soon be lvl 12 but i haven't found one horn yet .. what is the best monkey to kill to get it and where can i find them??

warriors dont need dex AT all even in pvp pure str or 3str 1spr would be good

I've looked for the advanced license in the weapon shop of ozi village and can't find it. is there any where else to get one.
