Game GM misconduction and slander! Guy gets jail time in fiesta!!

Recently on January 10-11, 2009

A random gm had got in a conflict with a character of the game whom is one of Elderine’s friendliest Gm Xzavyor. (Note GM is addressed as Guild master and Game GM is referred to Game Master)
Xzavyor was attending his normal daily Gm functions and routines until he decides to rave on about the worlds greatest Game GM Kenny’s accomplishments. As we all know no hard comments were ever made from GM Xzavyor until along comes a random Game GM came in and Quoted " Game GM Kenny is an ex GM along with darkkon." Xzavyor Quotes “what kind of crap is this” No response came from the random Game GM. Just then The random Game GM Replies “Game GM Kenny was fired for doing inappropriate things with honneyings you cant do inappropriate thing with honneyings" which is telling enclosed employer documents that should only be between past employer and that employee. It is a offence to tell peoples employment business. This random Game Gm has no right to tell peoples business. Meanwhile at the same time the random talks about GM Darkkon who was said to be referred to from now on by the random Gm as “GM Darkkgone. During this incident of trouble Guild Master Xzavyor defended the rights of the Ex Game GM's and was sent to jail after quoting to said gm "who ever the hell you are Radom GM you need to get your self down to the battle zone 2 in eld! we goin to settle this man o man!” “Just because I’m BornFree and you a jerk who cant fight dont mean you cant talk to me!" “I’m not afraid of you essay this is epith and we don’t play that slandering stuff around here! You need to take your ugly punk self back to Teva!”

I was one of the major ones to get into the fight with the GM if u remember I am DefiantAngel and ive got to say that while the GM was hiding behind that website of his X deserves to be let out of jail.
The GM made a bad mistake to criticize Dakkon or Kenny. Dakkon was basically the best GM out there but i didnt know Kenny very well. GM u really had no right to put X in jail if he was standing up for himself. Thats being what you would call a BULLY!

I have no doubt it was a joke for Kenny..but dont ignore the fact that some ppl still have some bad feelings about his "release" shall we say. Other than that i see no problem with Kenny jailing them. If they were harassing, using language, or doing something also against the rules then wats the problem i ask. i think a few ppl misread the original post cause, well, it was a bit hard to understand.

the OP was saying that his guildmaster was talking about the accomplishments of GM Kenny when an unnamed GM (he called him random GM to keep from blacklisting his name) came along and said that GM kenny was fired for the reasons said in the first post. this unnamed GM then went and started talking about Dakkon as well. Then the unnamed GM jailed all u guys, prolly cause the arguments got out of hand :(

2) thats not kenny, but kenny's superior who fired kenny, or got kenny fired.. and is trying to cover up or tone down the situation with some drama.. -coughs- sounds familiar. ( probability 40% )

It sounds like people need to show a bit more respect.

IMO, both parties should be jailed for this, since it sounds like numerous harsh words were exchanged.

Also, GM Dakkon is a legend on the server among GMs. To this day there is a cash shop outfit made famous by him and popular with the ladies. Listed now as the Sensei suit, it is more commonly known as Dakkon's Man-Thong, and made it's debut clothing none other than GM Dakkon himself on his birthday.

It is a bit sad that Dakkon and Kenny are no longer with us, but I think they should be respected especially by the newer GMs that follow in their footsteps.

Though being a GM isn't easy, a day in the life of a GM is probably as difficult as going from level 85 to 90 in one afternoon with no cash shop items and your stats reduced by 50% by a glitch that won't be repaired until next week, they do get what they need to done and still manage to make time for having fun.

Also a quick note on a bit of a hilarious issue that all of the GMs have had.

Through my entire time playing Fiesta, it seems I am periodically messaged by the GMs on accident.

Once, it was GM Dakkon accidentally sending his love letters to me instead of someone else they were meant for.

More recently, it was GM Silkypico asking me if I wanted to head up to the jail for an hour or so for some kind of test, probably an item or stat check on something in development (At least I hope, I don't recall having done anything wrong that would have justified jail time.)

It's mildly amusing, but the GMs need to follow the same rules they uphold or else people won't obey them.

Oh and Guild Masters (I prefer to use gm for them to avoid confusion) are ordinary players and do not have any authority outside of their own guilds. They need to remember this, and consider their members as well when talking to others especially the authorities.

KennysAngels was never made up of haters and certainly never intended to be malicious against any of the other GMs.

Anyhoo on topic: While I find that joking about the other GMs employability status is wrong I also think that people should watch their own language extremely closely when debating against it, this would avoid any misinterpretation and consequences.

Actually, whether you are endowing yourself with 'powers' or not you have absolutely no right to tell someone where they can and cannot post. I would suggest dropping that kind of attitude before it gets you in trouble.

As for your situation, what should have happened was that the players who were jailed should have taken screenshots of the conversation and sent them to a CSR via a ticket. Taking vigilante action against a company is useless and juvenile.

You want to know why they have absolute power when it comes to your account? Because you gave it to them when you signed the ToS, you relinquished that right. They own the game, they own your accounts, and they are the higher power in the situation. Should they do something questionable it needs to be reported to a CSR so that action can be taken. There is nothing that you, as a player, can do to 'punish' a GM.

Realize that those who may disagree with you, or post opinions that don't run hand in hand with your own are not 'spies' they are just people who think differently than you. A mature user would answer their questions, reply to their comments in a calm manner and conduct the situation like an adult. Not like my 10 year old cousin throwing a tantrum. There are several ways to handle this situation, and unfortunately, I believe you have chosen the least effective one.
