item enhancement help plz?

ok, i found a spiked club +2 tonight and im wondering if i can upgrade it some more. i have 2 blessed elure stones and 1 lix stone. if i can upgrade it, is there a certain way i have to arrange the stones on that wheel?

Yes, you can upgrade it some more.

You put 1 stone around the wheel (to get it to +3, use the blessed elrue) anywhere you wish. Then press begin.

Yes there is a chance that it can break or degrade down a level

when u go to refine an item at the smithing guy, theres a wheel. u put a weapon in the middle and a stone thing in one of the boxes around the wheel. once uve set the stone(s) where u want, the wheel "spins" and hopfully, the highlighted square will complete a line with the stone youve selected.

I did this and it always misses the stone. Then I get a message saying that there was an unknown error. :confused::confused::confused:

I've noticed that there's a method to it, however I typically don't pick up on it until after the first spin and even then it's iffy.

Typically, I lose the item as well.

yeah, i just lost the +3 spike hammer. i tried puting lix onto it but it gone tore to pieces...
