hey guys

well i ahve been playign fiesta for over a year now.

since lvl 70 i have been buying sc. i think fiesta has changed alot since i first started. SO today i am installing my 30 day trial of world of warcraft.

Today the pet thing really pushed me to the edge. Fiesta is becoming all about the sc spent.

look at this

30 day pet - around 5000sc

now perm pet 5200sc
food for pet 420 for 10

ok so if i play for 3 hrs i need 6 packs of food.. do the math over a month....
once u hit the quest in BR u pretty much need a sparkcash mover cause ti takes forever to get there, and the npc's there still havent been fixed to sell stones etc. why? well i think it might have to do with the long trip. long trip makes u buy their pet

t4 enhancment costs on avg 40-50$ canadian which is absolutely crazy
so once they raise the lvl cap their will prob be t5 gear costing even more to enhance.

So fiesta wins a award for best free game. Congrats, it is a great game but once u get high lvl it really isnt free i dont know many players over 80 who dont spend real $

anywho

i had and have a great time playing fiesta, i will be still playing but im gonna give wow a shot and sounds like wow is like crack and even more addictive then fiesta.

I just wish the programmers would spend more time fixing problems ie high servers, the npc's in br etc instead of spending time to make them more money consantly.

Sure obviously they need to make money, but come on dont u think they are making a killign already?

Yea I think I may also be quitting, this game is free but like you said you need a mount in high level and I just can't afford the game anymore. Im also thinking about switching over to wow.

Switching from fiesta to wow is quite tricky lol, also after the free 30 day trial It's like $30 a month.

And from what i noticed, the wow population has rly died, maybe not now since the expansion came out. no clue don't play anymore

On a side note <----live in Australia
(AUD = 0.6 USD)
(CAD = 0.8 USD)

tbh, for some its cheaper to just play wow lol, plus you get more.

I also think many ppl will complain about the new perma mounts. I hope they will release again the old ones cause we used to stay on our movers 24 h.

I agree with the OP, I did the maths and if you use your mover for more than 1 hour a day it's not worth it

We have to pull mobs on mount so we ll use them more than 1 hour per day, also needs 30 to br and back lol.

I has an idea... old fashioned hobby ftw. I'm not buying into the whole perm mount idea. I might spend more time playing my other chars and enjoying kqs lol...

WOW >>> 2years
FFXI >>> 3.5years

Love pvp? go for WOW.
Love game storyline? go for FFXI (no pvp ><)

After playing so many online games, im beginning to grow tired and wanted something simple like Fiesta. I believe they got the award because their games are more towards the aim of making ppl of all age groups able to play together. (free for those children who just enjoy running around, pay for those who is competitive)

And they made effort of appearance change, etc, seasons event...
Well, no harm trying WOW and FFXI... they are really most fun at start just like any other games.

I feel like this game isnt just about being the best its more about the social aspect i mean havent yet to meat a....word i cant say here... of fiesta yet but on other mmo's there all over the place. As for WoW i havent played it but ive seen what it does to ppl and its not pretty. You also have to pay for it and i like hoarding money not spending it

If you quit and still want to hold onto fiesta, check out a new game comeing out 2009-EtherSaga-the trailer will make you see how extremely similar it is to Fiesta but enchanced in a more persuading and looks very fun.

It's not hard to find other games.

Being a lower level is a lot cheaper, SC-wise. Also, less drama, and such. LOW LEVEL FTW!

I was also thinking of playing wow after I found out how much spark cash I'd be spending in fiesta.
But then I did the maths, wow costs me $30 a month to play, and I pay a bit less in spark cash for teva, mounts, crit suits etc.
