whats up im DaytoRemember from bijou and ive been playing for alittle under a month and i've noticed as i walk around new players always need anwers to common questions so i've compiled a list of things that newcomers wanna know to make it easier for them. Im not asking for a sticky but it would be much appreciated and it would be updated daily.
One of the first things your gonna want to do is join an academy. most of them give decent rewards(rewards can be accessed by going into the inventory and clicking the present box tab next to the 4th item slot)(side note the other present box tab is for sparkcash which i will discuss later on) as you gain levels and you can use the academy portion of your chat box to ask questions and talk to other members. you can join a academy by using the community button and then the guild academy tab or you can go to the guild manager shown in the screenshot.

After you've done that its best to venture outside the town and get a handle on killing monsters. You should kill slimes and other monsters till you get to level 3. Heres an important note... save your drops! usually there are stores sitting just outside the town wanting to buy them for cold hard cash allowing you to buy gear and other goodies in town. This also leads to the next topic. Production skills. To select your production skills you go the skill tab at the bottom and go to alchemy then click production skills at the bottom. A menu will appear showing a bunch of skills. now the skills are as follows potion production , stone production , scroll production , material composition , and material decomposition. Now as a newer player you wont have much need for comp and decomp skills at the moment and you can always make a new character with those skills at a future time. you want to aim for scrolls and pots. stones will be used for enhancing which i will talk about later and you can make your decision based on that. Anyway heres what everything does. Oh and be aware once you have chosen your 2 skills which can be selected by clicking the picture of a skill and dropping it into one of the two boxes up top you will need to purchase the corresponding skill for that production in order to use it.
Potion production - allows you to make pots for healing and SP for skills. this production can save you from buying pots in the future at higher levels which cost quite a some of money and you can also make money by selling your pots. ( im not sure on selling prices i will add them if this gets stickied)
Scroll production - this allows you to make scrolls that increase certain stats including health , def , evasion , aim , speed , and so on for a set amount of time. To me this is by far the most useful skill out there but im entitled to my opinion. you can also sell scrolls for big bucks . price for T1 scrolls range from 150c to 300c , T2's range from 4-7s , t3's range from 10 - 13s. theres T4's out there but by then you will have the game under your belt :D
Stone production - This goes hand in hand with enhancment which i will go into great depth later. Stones are used to make those cool shiny weapons you see people with. Stones are used to enhance armor and weapons alike.
Composition - this takes lower grade items and makes them into higher grade items. its as simple as that
Decomposition - same as comp but the other way around
Next is Enhancement this is what makes your weapons all shiny :D . not only that but as you enhance it farther it gains more damage / defence depending on if its a weapon or armor. the highest you can go is + 9 but its not easily obtainable unless you have eyes and miles which are cash shop items that stop the weapon from breaking and degrading.Heres how enhancment works. you go to a smith and click refine item. you put your item of choice into the center sqaure and put a stone into one of the 8 outside squares. for + 1 to + 3 you need stones called elrues for +4 to +6 you need lixes and for +7 to + 9 you need xirs. the other blocks are for eyes, miles , and gold nines which are also cash shop items that increase the success rate by 15%. The goal in enhancing is to hope that the glowing square that appears when you click enhance is to land on the opposite square that the stone was put and it will raise it to the next level. thats all there is to enhancing.
the final issue i have come across until i find more that people need help on is the lvl 20 job quest ive seen countless people whisper me and shout how to get to the next level or where is the job quest. here is what you must do. first off once you hit level 20 you must go to skill master marty in elderine. he will tell you to take a letter to ruby in roumen once you talk to her you go back to marty. he will tell you to go to forest of mist and talk to grand master sean. he is located right next to the pond near the merchants on the bridge. he will tell you to find the shadow key it is easily found by killing phinos and greenkies once you have the key talk to sean and he will send you into the dungeon. there are many stratgies to doing it and i will put some on here if this gets stickied or bumped.
thats it for now i hope this helps all of our new players
