What's the point of arguing about abyss?

I really think arguing about abyss is pointless because..

Arguing about abyss is like, arguing about religions, someone will always think their religion is the best. They will probably never change their mind, not even if you argue with them for days, they'll keep pushing their point.

What do you guys think..?

I think in many cases people on here just want to get a post or two out there to make sure that their feelings and opinions are known on the subject. However, I agree, there are several posters on each side of the situation who are just not going to see it from another view point. Arguing over it is rather pointless, but expressing an opinion in a thread or two is more than fine from my viewpoint.

After all, when it comes down to it, its just a game.

Abyss is meant for PvP. You PvP at your own risk, and lose Exp. FBZ= Free Battle Zone, you won't lose exp there.

And yeah, posting your opinions are ok if it's 2-3 threads we're talking about.... But I see new Posts about the same old thing, and that Anoys me.

Then, if they can't let go of their own viewpoint enough to even make an attempt at understanding a different view, they are only closed-minded people. They probably tend to be this way in more aspects that just the one thread.

Frankly, and this is my own personal opinion, I don't think you can give a good arguement if you can't understand the other side. Countering with the same arguement over and over in any debate hall will cause you to lose the debate to the person who understands both sides, counters all of your points and raises new opinions and questions.

I understand where your coming from that the same thing is talked over and over again but thats because the abyss issue is among the biggest issue there is right now next to class balence.

In my opinion there is something wrong in abyss I thing that the 0-9 level caps should be put back (Ex.30-39, 40-49 ect ect.) cause every time I go to play on my mage some level 50-55 fighter decides to slice me up for no reason. It happend to me yesterday, when I went back to the room he was gone...he simply just wanted to kill me.

I think that its good Abyss is a PvP zone, and I like that you lose exp when you die. Now adays the abysses arnt over crowded only the ones ready to risk it go there. Still though people who arnt there to grind should not even be let in...

If you don't understand the entire situation (and that means both sides) then you can't really present a good arguement because you don't have all the knowledge about the situation.

Because if no one says anything to the contrary then they will believe that no one has any problem with it.
Even if Outspark remains hard headed about the issue and will not make any changes it is still good to let them know that their changes have angered a whole bunch of players.
Players that spend money in their cash shop.

Yeah I know if they were going to change the abyss then they would have by now. The way I see it OS does this.

-Make huge changes that upset everyone
People get mad and spam tons of threads against it.

-They wait it out
People get tired of not being listened to and eventually give up trying to change things.

Rinse and repeat this is how they do it, and its getting really tiring. I dont hate OS for not fixing things...Im just tired of not knowing if they are there or not. If they even listen to what we say. If they would pop into more threads and say we are working on it that would be enough to stop people from complaining lol.

I think this is the last time I ever debate on this forum, I'll just help new people out, cause when you think about it who listens to us? >.>

I guess if everyone gives EACH class a try, they'll be able to see another class' point of view. If they don't, then they remain hard-headed. But no one can force you to play as a different class. So yeah, I guess it's all about not being so close-minded. We all have our problems.

Playing each class does help in understanding the situation, but its not even class dependent. In many cases the abyss turns into grinding vs. pking. Which is the abyss meant for? While OS has stated that its meant for PVP, those who wish to grind there view it as...another map to grind on. In many cases they don't wish PvP to be there at all, while PKers enjoy the ability to fight those around their range level without having to worry about a 7x aoe hitting a bunch of 2x players like it would in the FBZ.

There's always another side. The people that Ive seen that present the best arguements in the forums are those who have the ability and the willingness to see more than just their own side. :)

Every argument is pointless if no one is going to chang their minds, but as stated before most of us just want to put it out there. Maybe some are not so eloquent in the art of debate to address the actual counterpoints that are being made, but others are. Maybe they repost because they think they are saying something different, or maybe they are trying to "scream the loudest" by repetition.

Overall, I think our true "targets" are the GMs. Maybe once they see how large a population on their game feel one way or another, they may make changes OR leave it the same because not enough people care. Either way, you can't influence if you're quiet- and not everyone can argue effectively.

But dont worry i wont start another pointless rant because there was already posted many (sometimes harsh) threads abut this issue.
Honestly the only side witch bear highest guilt for let this situation escalate to this point is Outspark itself by mindless pushing "pvp" aspects ignoring any warnings that such unrestricted system will be very fast abused by players witch now treat abysses as thier personal player hunting grounds...

Then why i find that rather troubling?
Instead of braistorming and invented well from the beginning they should simply START TO READ players feedback.
Who known better as players how situation is in reality?, but every feedback we post is plainly ignored by staff because they undertake attitude "We known better what is good FOR US"...

O.o This is why i play Bright Kingdom XD you get what you want over there abyss ish the same tho O.o 30 ~ 36 o.o 40 ~ 56 and so on o...o you don't get PK'd those places are mostly empty

i don't get why u guys all whine to the GM's and CSR's lol they have no power or control over the content we get lol only people who do is OsOnSoft so go spam their site under 'Contact Us' they do speak English O.o;

the point of the OS staff is to get feedback and report it back to the developers they do the changes and fixes specifically for each version the feed back they get is the spam everywhere about 'Fix this Fix That' 'I don't like this' 'This is great we want more of this' I'd really just call GM's game monitors for all they do is watch players either whine or say something positive
