More and More I'm hearing of people getting scammed by others selling Spark Cash Gifts items. This disturbs but does not surprise me. :(
First of all, I beleive it is agains ToS to sell anything in game for In game money for Spark Cash.
Secondly, why and how do people allow themselves to be scammed over and over gain?
I see Noob Characters popping up in the towns everyday selling Sc gifts, this means the same ppl are creating new accts after being banned.
One warning should be if a person is not a high level character what have they got to loose if banned for such action?
I don't know if (even if) you screen shoot such action you will be reimbursed any losses if you reprot being scammed, but you may help shut down the scammer. Always screen shot a transaction that is risky! Shoot the whole conversation, trade boxes etc.
Best Defense? JUST DONT DO IT! Don't ask for it and ESPECIALLY DO NOT respond when someone is shouting they will gift for gold!
If you want gifted items ask only friends of yours with whom you have played for a length of time, if you have their msn chances are you know them, but event then maybe not.
Gifts are supposed to be from the heart, meant for good not to break a heart. Buyer beware.;)

Hm, a lot of people use MSN.

Anyway, yeah, a lot of people have to beware. And hopefully they know that they shouldn't be buying from gifts. Many things can be potential scams.

yeah it's sad so many people get scammed, this just shows most people can't be trusted and think how another person would feel.
I really like the gift system though dispite all possible scams, like you can host guild events (like hide and seek) and have sc prizes ^^

If you see someone advertising the sales of gifted items, please screenshot and report it to a CSR. The issue will be investigated and the person advertising these services will be punished if found guilty.

Offering in-game currency for SC items is not allowed, neither is advertising such services. If you choose to accept these services you do so at your own risk, similar to enhancement services. And like enhancement services, if you are scammed Outspark is not liable for any losses a player may have if they choose to pay for a gifted item.

I am glad you mention that Serric I will certainly do this and I hope others will too. Again, I think the Spark Cash gifts are a nice idea too but there are too many people out for blood. When i see anyone asking i warn them and when i see anyone shouting I shour back not to accept thier offers. I have been rediculed for this but Oh well, if it stops one person I am happy.

<--Lactose Intolerant ;_;.

It's no problem, it happens XD.

I appreciate your concern in this matter. Hopefully more players will start reporting players offering these services for money, and maybe the number of scams will dwindle down.

Once again, I wittness a conversation between players today and it went something like this..
#1 "How do I know you're not scamming me?"
#2."How do I know you have SC?"
#1. "Well how do I know you have 5g?"
please folks I say it again Just dont do it....
and if you are in doublt, report it
I will keep adding these conversations untill this is resolved, gifts are removed (which is not my intention) or the scammers quit trying (with new players everyday this is likely not to happen.)
Looks like this thread could be a long standing one...feel free to help bump this one and warn everyone when you see the shouts or hear someone who may be contimplating this kind of transaction

to report log into your Fiesta site and go to the help desk or click here please

I think it would be a good idea to announce it in game as well, so many people don't read the forum and have no idea that gifting for gold is not allowed.
Today I heard someone shouting in BR "Selling coupon whisper me offers"
I shouted it was not allowed and go several replies "Yes it is"

Yeah if we all did that maybe we can stop the scamming, people I know are trying to make a quick in game buck, but either way you can get scammed, in giving and in receiving. I don't really feel bad for someone who knows better like a person who has been here forever, its the new guys I want to warn mostly, so shouting against them helps, the more reminders the better.

Please Help report these People who prey on the innocent who dont know any better and shout in the towns when you hear them advertising selling spark cash items for in game money. If you decide to try this out screen shot the transaction but beware if you report a scam you may not get your money back but will help shut down a scammer
