Well from the invite i got it said the servers would be up at 5pm PDT (GMT -7:00) today. Now I'm horrible when it comes to time zones...so does that mean they'll be up in 45mins?

It'll be up at midnight GMT.
Around an hour and a half from now.

umm no its says "SoS game servers will come online at approximately 5pm PDT (GMT -7:00) today" thats copy and pasted right from the invite.
where you gettin midnight from

That all depends on what timezone you are in. The company is located on the west coast, so its a 5:00 P.M. release for them, but it will be 8:00 P.M. if you are on the east coast.
Here is a picture that makes it really simple if you are in the U.S. If you live somewhere else just google "Time zones" and you should find something to help you easily.

Now let me explain this a little further, the purple part of the map is where the company exists, and its being released 5 P.M. their time, so, just find your state, and add hours according to the map. Thats one hour more for every section further you get from the purple.
