Clerics = Friends

I have been playing for a little while now and I see that alot of players are falling into the same trap. If you are in the middle of a fight (mainly support i.e. Mage, Archer) and die. Wait for a res, the Clerics are (shocker) busy healing the people that take most of the damage. Wait patiently...ask once, maybe twice given the circumstance, he/she will get around to it when he/she can. The last thing in this world you should do is badmouth the ONLY people in the group that bring you back from the dead. Especially don't badmouth the cleric and the rest of the group and then go afk...a mob will magically appear to give your comatose character a lapdance and the end result rarely can be cleaned up with a paper towel...

Main thing I am saying is treat the Clerics right and they will treat you right. I am a Mage and the only things that kill me are the reds in Mara Pirate KQ. Invest in Def/vit scrolls and pot's and stones and maybe you won't die as much...I usually tell the clerics to keep healing the tank's and not to worry about me. That makes one less person they have babysit when it gets hectic.

Hope at least one person reads this and goes, hm, maybe thats why I never get ressed. Another point...the worst time to do this is when you are lying on the ground dead at the very last boss. If the boss dies and you are still useless on the ground. Guess what? no exp, no treasur chest. Don;t know about you, but to me that equals a complete waste of time...

Anywho, enjoy and remember, massmurder is alright in this game, how else do we get the levels?

Heh, I very much agree with you Talkius. Clerics are there HELPING you, by healing you or if your in a KQ, healing tanks to keep the monsters away from you. They cant be expected to be everywhere at once. Flyff helped me learn the importance of clerics(assists on Flyff).

You treat the clerics good, and they will mostly return the favor. Same reason if I ever party with a support cleric or two during quests or grinding, I have it set to sequential allocation..They deserve stuff to for healing you, yep.

PLUS.. remember there is a 30 second cooldown between revs.. that's 1/4 of the time you can be dead before you get warped back to town.. so relax!!! there is nothing we can do for 30 seconds after we rev someone.

I love healing people!
In Teva, my character Daevus heals anyone in sight with health issues. The only problem, though, is that she is only level 14. *sigh* I'm not too good at games, either, so I never seem to level up fast. When do you get ressurection magic, anyway?

I must concur with your statement, though. I utterly despise dying, and the only time I have badmouthed someone with ressurection power is when they kited a monster to me, then got out of its range-
It Aggroed, and killed me in one hit (I was typing at the time, and I hit the keyboard shortcut, resulting in typeos, rather than healings.)
He did ressurect me, but I lost EXP needlessly.
(I did apologise for calling him a jerk afterward, though.)

I don't badmouth clerics, however this scenario annoys me. When clerics think it'll be cool to all tank, and not heasl anyone even when they are free, they give lame excuses for it. Once I even had 'Im saving exp'. if they want to tank why not make a fighter? I try to give them advice though, not badmouth them.

I am saying they are healing the Tank, not being the tank. Main scenario I run across has 1 main tank and most of the time they don;t have scrolls (go figure) so they need the cleric's undivided attention. Now, if they are not hardpressed to keeping that one individual alive, by all means they should be healing you as well. I rarely die and when I do it is due to lack of a tank that knows his/here job....
