outspark has made an absolutely ridiculous move with these invite selections. I have had my account for a long time I beta tested fiesta and I submitted several well written reports helping to ready the game for OB. How would I possible not get an invite when I have already proven myself as an asset to the company yet they invited most brand new accounts? There invitation methods make no sense I hope it isn't a sign of how they will maintain the game. I hope the second batch of invites rectifies this mistake and you make room for the real beta testers not the forum spammers.

Indeed it it ridiculous and stupid.. no respect for any of the old company players that sticked with them since Fiesta....

K, first of all, just because you were in the first beta test for Fiesta, doesn't make you above others. You are just as even as the people who just started.
Secondly, don't complain. It's not your game. If you have issues, make one yourself. Don't tell them how to run their game. They took the initiative and made a couple. Where's yours?
Thirdly, you can't classify people by how many posts they have made. And just because they have posted a lot does NOT make them a spammer.
I didn't get an invitation but I don't care. I would have liked one, but that's not my choice.
If they hand picked the players, honestly, I'm glad they didn't pick the two of you. Selfish, sore losers are NOT who I'd like helping my game out.
You probably didn't even report many bugs in the original beta version of Fiesta. Just played it for kicks. so how exactly does that qualify you for such a task? Everyone is equal in this game. Don't complain.

Well to answer the actual question, I didn't get an invite, but I'll wait patiently for the OB (I am kinda patient like that ¬_¬)

There is 1 major thing you are leaving out. I am not some f2p farming kid who just jumps from game to game to have free fun. I am a beta tester, I belong to several beta testing communities and I provided a lot of solid reports / feedback / suggestions regarding Fiesta. If anything every single player like myself that actually uses a beta for its real purpose to clean the game should be re-invited good beta testers make the game what it is come open beta / release and some appreciation is deserved. Maybe I am wrong but that is how I feel seeing as we work for free :P

It's just that you'd think Outspark would pick people who have been loyal to them and interested in their games before people who just joined. I'm not saying having played Fiesta or whatever puts me above anyone else, I'm just wondering why people who signed up for the beta when it first came out are completely ignored in comparison to people who maybe saw it pop up on MMOSITE one day or something. :/
Yah whatever, don't flame me.

This is my first beta, so i'll admit i'm not as great of a tester as you'd be, but it's a great way to learn. Instead of whining about not getting into beta, why not give some hints to the new beta testers about how to do the job. Since i'm guessing you'll wanna play OB without all the bugs we newbies are gonna miss.

I have nothing against never before brand new testers getting the first crack at the game as well you gotta start somewhere but it is foolish to not bring the experience in as well as the fresh faces.
as for how to be a good tester go to www.betawatcher.com I believe theres some faq's etc on how to be a useful beta tester as well as its a good site for info etc :)
Edit: I made a brand new account just now since it will have a better shot at second batch of invites no doubt :p

I don't play final releases of games I only play world of warcraft and beta test games. If I don't get in the game before OB I most likely wont see the game I will be in a different beta I have been a helpful source for hundreds of betas but rarely there in release unless the game truly owns.

Okay, honestly? You're putting yourself above everyone again. I don't know whether you're telling the truth or not, but I really don't care.
Also, the names were drawn at random. Seriously, stop complaining. It's just too annoying.
And you don't have a choice but to work for free so don't think tht by doing so you're accomplishing something. If they were going to pay someone they'd pay someone who actually knows what they're doing and have taken classes/read up on the subject/have been instructed. They won't hire some guy who wanders different games claiming he knows everything. People that know about the crap don't go around blabbing everything. It just shows that you don't. It's easy to pick out who actually knows something. I can't prove that you don't so I won't say you don't. But I have my doubts.
It's just that you'd think Outspark would pick people who have been loyal to them and interested in their games before people who just joined. See? People like Languro here are doing this to help and learn. That is the reason Outspark is doing this. It's to give people at random a chance to experience something new. And with the increase in numbers, the chance of a new person being able to experience this new game increases.
So I appreciate it, Languro, for trying your best. It helps not only Outspark, but also the Outspark community and players included. Whether they whine about it or not.

I just have to laugh when I see people actually taking personal offense at the fact they didn't get invited. LOL this is not middleschool... you not standing in line hopeing you're not the last to be picked for dodgeball teams lawlz. *poke poke*
Keyword in all this -> Population Distribution ...erm k 2 words.
They have to make a game that appeals to the most amount of people. Closed beta may cause major changes to the game, not just glitch reporting. Getting fresh ideas and opions are the meat and potatoes of making these games succeed. If you didn't get an invite dont feel bad. You'll get to play later and there'll always be chances for you to put ur 2 cents in.
If you agree with me +rep me
