i made my first +9 without SC, was proud - it was an NPC weapon, but still, free to enhance (made my own stones, so other than having to buy 4 new weapons each time it broke, was very cheap) - sold it for a gold too, back when that was pooloads (gold spammers were only offering 500s for $40 for example, lol)

after that, i've always had +9's (or at least 8's), but i've never made one, i've always paid for one from a vendor, or was kindly given one (yes, there aer nice players out there still) - one person did my 80 shield as a birthday present, she used eyes/miles - but i've never used SC to enhance, nor for other stuff - i buy racoons and outfits cause i wanna look pretty - i believe my current one has crit, like that helps a cleric, but it was more about how it looks on me than the crit.

people like to diss SC users, without realising that for one, it pays for the game, lol - but also that not everyone just enhances all day long with eyes miles to get their 6 gems - yeah, it's a great, and legitimate way to make money in game, but some of us just wanna look pretty :>
